“Not really, was gonna grab some takeout and then go home,” She answered as she held onto his hand. She’s not ready to let go, even if space is a tad bit apart in between the two of them. She didn’t want to leave. Never again does she want to leave

“But that sounds better than my plan, the takeout can wait,” She added chuckling. She didn’t drink much at all. The last time she drank was New Year’s in 1999, soon to be 2000. Before that was the night the Berlin wall fell. Never heavily,  she stopped doing that after 1900. It’s been a while, and this was a happy occasion. A very happy one indeed. It was a good time to celebrate.

“I’d love that, catching up. I’d like to know what you’ve been up to, little monster,” She called him so endearingly holding his hand. “Where’d you like to go? It’s up to you.”

“It’s that obvious?” She asked, chuckling a little as she returned his smile. He did look a little cute and she wasn’t even drunk.  “I wouldn’t say I know everything though. There’s some that have to be learned. Experience counts for the tricks that can’t be learned easy.”

“Sometimes it takes me out of the fighting, away from that.  So it hasn’t been that dangerous,” She added. She’s often trying to stay away from the fighting, into the quiet. Into the peacefulness even if it’s not forever. That’s one of the many things she liked about scavenging. Money was good too.

She did find it a little odd, that the topic of the rebellion against the first order was brought up so easily. She often found it best not to bring up a subject like that so early in a conversation. She personally didn’t like the fighting, relating to more of the rebellion. This fighting was no good for anybody, and nobody comes out the winner when everybody’s dead.

She keeps her drink in her hand, but doesn’t drink. She’s occupied with talking to this new stranger.

“What about you? What is it that you do? You from around here?”

“...Well...Shit.”

“...I did that all alone, and I’m afraid if I have to do it again, I’ll do it alone. Are you the same in that method? Doing it alone?”

“I can tell you one thing, I don’t wanna be alone if I have to do it again.”

Dust isn’t something she would normally consume. It wasn’t for her, as she preferred the sweet. Something she grew up with on her planet as a kid during the summer times. Internally she applauded the man for taking on a drink like that.

She’s sitting there, waiting for her newfound friend, Thor. They had just sold off the items and parts she had scavenged prior to meeting him, having split the credits together as a result of their partnership. She didn’t need to do much, aside from buying more supplies. Thor on the other hand said he had matters to attend to. So for the time being she’s in here until that business is settled.

She honestly had no idea where to go from there. Aside from following the coordinates to the ‘star’ Thor spoke of. One with precious items. Shiny precious items to keep. Some to help her keep this going, maybe to buy a bigger ship to store more little treasures.

But for now, she’ll have to wait for her friend. In the meantime, all she can do is drink and wonder what kind of man he is to drink such a thing such as Dust.
