The casually gathered thoughts, musings, and writings of a feral old woman.40s, Black, Puerto Rican, neurodivergent, atheist/ex-christian, cis gendered, heterosexual, heteroromantic, allosexual, sex positive, disabled; survivor since childhood STILL stubbornly continuing to survive.Always learning. Always trying to find ways to remain human despite the pressures of this capitalist hell-machine.✨🌌🖖🏾☀️🌊🌿🇵🇷🌺🌪️🌕🖖🏾🌌✨[This is more often than not going to be a collection of slightly cleaned-up, random thoughts and musings, and responses that I've given in various conversations that people seem to have really liked and asked to see. ^^;It's not a place where I'll debate, so. Conservatives will not be entertained... more likely deleted and blocked...admittedly, with pleasure. :3 ...And I can't believe I have to say this, but this "will-be-blocked-not-entertained" rule ***includes TERFs!*** 🙄]{ And...To be perfectly honest, it's better if minors don't follow me. I will get smutty on occasion ^^; It's only a matter of time.}Friends In Need: My home situation is..not good. I don't control my household or have my own money. 😥 I'm so sorry. I wish that I did. (Or I wish I at *least* lived with someone who shared my values, who would agree on what is important to spend on.)IF I ever do have anything, I'll probably give through one of the pages that has vetted requests. Please focus your energies on getting listed there.Again, I am sorry. I know it doesn't mean anything, but I will hope and yearn always for your safety, liberation, and comfort, and for victory against every oppressor.✨🌌🏞️✊🏾May the land be yours once again✊🏾🌅🌌✨✨✊🏾🍊🍉🇵🇸🍉🍊✊🏾✨

This Is Not The First Time This Has Happened Either:

Berlin police chased down a young boy waving a Palestinian flag, ultimately arresting him. Footage shows the distraught-looking boy being taken away by a large number of riot police at the edge of a pro-Palestine protest in the German capital.

This is not the first time this has happened either:

[Jul 16 2024] Berlin police is arresting children at pro-Palestinian demonstrations, in what activists say is a shocking escalation of already widespread police violence against pro-Palestinian voices. The most recent confirmed arrest of children involved the early June detention of a 7-year-old boy for allegedly hitting an officer’s helmet with his flag. In a witness statement shown to The New Arab (TNA), the boy's father said he had been carrying his son on his shoulders at a march when they suddenly found themselves surrounded by officers who lashed out at the crowd and then took the pair away to a police van. The police confirmed via email that a 7-year-old was arrested on suspicion of "assaulting" a police officer at the same protest in Berlin. Police told TNA that six children under the age of 16 were detained on June 8.   In a video posted on social media, the child can be seen screaming in a state of extreme distress while he and his father are surrounded and grabbed by 11 officers in riot gear. The father says the child now experiences anxiety and needs psychological treatment because of the incident. In another incident on the same day, a 13-year-old was handcuffed and dragged away by officers using a controversial "pain grip" after making a rude hand gesture to a police officer. Berlin police have confirmed that a 13-year-old was detained "on suspicion of insult," which is a criminal offence under German law. A few weeks earlier, on May 29, an incident was reported where two adolescents were punched in the face several times by police officers at a house entrance in Sonnenallee street in Berlin. This incident of police violence was condemned by Amnesty International Germany, and urged an investigation into allegations of unlawful police actions.

A man doesn't have to be poor to have a poor wife. It doesn't get talked about nearly enough.

A lot of these "stable" and even "rich" men that women are encouraged to seek out on dating advice columns, in romances, and in fairy tales; will buy gifts and show out BEFORE the marriage, and then deeply restrict household spending -- even to the point of closing you out of accounts or cutting off your access to healthcare or other services that he has on lock, under HIS name -- AFTER the marriage.

There are many women who literally wind up physically disabled, and therefore dependent on their abusers, due to the *purposeful* long-term medical neglect of these men.

Hell: my father, despite enjoying himself with daily steaks and new car after new car; still had my mother so financially shut down, that she was compelled to pattern and sew the curtains in order to keep me clothed throughout elementary school.

Wives of middle and upper class men do not necessarily share in their husband's wealth or opportunities. We're just told that they do, to help romanticize the idea of women "marrying up".

remember kids, homelessness is the direct result of flaws in the capitalist system 👍 it is not the result of laziness, addiction, or even misfortune. it is a state of being only possible when profit becomes more important than humanity 👍 homelessness is manufactured as a threat, or a promise of what will happen if you don't give your labor to the ruling class 👍 we can disarm this threat by removing its power to cause fear and by being kind to the homeless 👍

Part of what finally snapped me out of my belief:

If god is the most intelligent and wise of all possible geniuses, then what's written in the bible should blow the efforts of scientists and philosophers completely out of the water.

The works of scientists should seem like the striving of toddlers in comparison to the bible.

It doesn't.

And if god is the source of absolute and perfect morality, then incredibly difficult moral quandaries should have been solved brilliantly in those pages...

I should never feel as if know right from wrong better than the god character.

And yet, with dismay, I frequently felt that way, while reading the bible.

I can't tell you how many hours I spent in desperate prayer, asking for revelation and clarity, on what was, ultimately, already clear:

The bible has no divine origin...and therefore, has no power to reveal anything that humans have yet to reveal; no ability to imbue one with a morality or a wisdom greater than what humans can construct; and no capacity to save you from what you yourself or another human or another animal or a stroke of sheer random chance couldn't save you from.
