He looks cool in the outfit but he was not invited to the opening ceremony. Showing the entirety of his horns might make his face look too small… A hood with holes customized for Malleus. There are gold accents (please match the accents at the center of the hood)

The entire rough is colored and final coloring, finishing and lighting is decided. Grim and the first years are in a semi-circle surrounded by shimmering light, like soft afternoon sunlight. At this stage there were colorful balloons, but this background was rejected by Disney for environmental concerns.

Happy Halloween my treat arrived today on Halloween, the Twisted Wonderland first event cards art book. It covers the Bean events, both Fairy Gala events, Starry event and both Halloween events. I photographed the book with the first book that covers all the student’s cards (class, PE, lab, & ceremony outfits no SSRs [dorm outfits]).

There’s line art of the cards and it’s oh so pretty. Yana’s art is just lovely. I’ve posted up Leona in Fairy Gala and Halloween Trey, my faves. I’m super tempted to make the close up of Leona into my phone home screen. It’s interesting to see that for majority of Trey’s line art it’s relatively clean whereas with Leona’s line art there’s more notes and sketch lines. I guess Trey is easier to draw than Leona ^^;

I have pre-ordered the First Birthday artbook that covers the 1st & 2nd birthdays, that’s releasing in Nov. 

I’m hoping CDJapan will have the Design Note book up for pre-order as that book is releasing in Dec 2022.
