I know it was probably just a bit but in episode 17 when Earl first sees Jonh he goes “son? …….oh never mind” (paraphrasing) and it got me thinking “wouldn’t it be funny if that had massive lore relevance” and then I started thinking of who could be Earls son

First thought, Chibo, but that doesn’t really make sense

Second thought, Cpt. Rose, could work maybe but also I think Rose is a human

Third thought, Shadow beard.
