I like Xanxus yes, I like Squalo yes. I used to ship them during my early days of KHR however I cannot anymore.

I want to open this up by explaining, if YOU ship them that I’m not intending to flame anybody. I don’t want to control who you ship or don’t ship. I don’t agree with this popular shipping however you won’t see me attack anybody who does. I won’t agree but I won’t attack them. This post is mean for me to explain why I don’t ship it personally not to call anybody out.

I think they’re both good characters separately, and I like them together viewing them interactions as platonic only. However it’s grown increasingly difficult to want to ship them romantically. 

I don’t think if they actually existed in real life, and were a couple their attitudes to each other especially the attitude with Xanxus towards Squalo and the literal abuse would fly in the real world. I mean lots of people are literally against abuse of all forms. which is good, you should be against abuse, any type of abuse.

I do not in any way shape or form believe that XS shippers are bad people however I do believe a majority of them are probably against real life abuse situations themselves and don’t like abusive topics. Yet ship XS probably the most abusive ship in the entire series. 

I know some might use the argument “IT’S FICTIONAL!” that doesn’t fly for me. I do not support any abusive relationship fictional or real. They might not be real people actually getting hurt but the content of abusive themes in the show and fan fiction are being read, watched, seen, and absorbed by people especially Young ones that may be easily influenced. It might not be real however any form of abuse in any media should be bad, not a cute shipping influence. 

When people see this type of stuff within their favorite mediums whether it be an anime, a live action, a movie, a book, a manga, a comic, or whatever it can start to become normalized within them if if they don’t intend to normalize it.

I know that they’re are good fan fictions of them being caring to each other, but let’s face it those are more so OOC. If we totally just ignored that and went off how they’d be dating based on their show personality it would not be healthy. period.

I don’t support normalizing unhealthy abusive relationships even if the normalization is not even noticed. 

so yeah, I don’t mean to hate on anybody who chose to ship them but this is just why I myself, can never do that anymore.
