Soooooo.... I'm Not Dead!

Soooooo.... I'm not dead!

I just have been doing a ton of things for a while.

I've been thinking...

I wanted to do an ask blog!

Not just any ol ask blog though!

I'm going to do a phone/tablet ask blog!....

Lemme explain... Basically, I'll open a blog and ONLY use my tablet to answer them!

NO EXCEPTIONS! Of course, I'll use my PC, tho only for setting up the non phone version of the ask blog.

Yeah, it's going to be quite interesting!

Basically:

I will open an ask blog based around Splatoon. Ok?

Characters will answer in character.

You can make an event happen for whatever amount of asks. Max: 10 asks!

Events can happen at the same time! Max: 3 though!

Nothing too lewd and no fetishes.

Don't harass me if I don't do it quickly enough! (Tho I'll try to answer at least one each day!)

If I don't do yours, don't worry. It's going to happen! Just be patient and don't harass me!

I'll ONLY USE MY TABLET FOR DRAWING/ANSWERING! So don't expect the art to look epic.

... that's it for now!

Splatoon Medical Headcanons

Oh boy, I haven't posted here in so looooooong!

And I wasn't planning to... But i saw this Inkblot Disease by cuddlebot! And MAN... I just HAD to post my old disease headcanons!

Well... They aren't diseases, but conditions that you're born with!

Ink Albinism

Basically, Inklings with Ink Albinism have a white ink color!

In a sense, all elderly inklings have this. But some inklings are born like that.

Most are incapable of changing their ink color due to lack of melanin, which has a huge role in proper ink production.

This condition is ultra rare! More albino inklings are born than ones with Ink Albinism!

There is a VERY SMALL chance that an Inkling with the condition WILL be able to produce colored ink, but it will be a very light version of the color they were going for.

When hit by the white ink, an inkling will never be splatted. Even if they are completely covered in it!

If an inkling with Ink Albinisim were to participate in a normal turf war, they can't use their ink. Instead, they use a modified tank that mixes their ink with the compatible chemicals of their teamates's ink color. (And of course, it colors the ink to the team color.)

Also, they are weak to every ink color except white. To properly participate in turf wars, the modified ink tank will have to return some of the special ink to the inkling. This will colorize the inkling to the team color temporarily, causing them to be able to resist the opposite ink color.

Melting Disease

Original Ideas (Part 0)

The symptoms of the Melting Disease was inspired by Epidermolysis bullosa or the “Butterfly Skin Disease"

Symptoms of the disease are: soft skin that when rubbed or scratched roughly, it will fall off in chunks, general melty look, and tons of wounds on the poor inkling's body.

Inklings with this disease are not allowed to participate in Turf Wars. This is because if an inkling were to participate, they would lose too much ink due to it dripping everywhere and general shooting. And if shot by the other team, their inner organs could get easily damaged!

There is a chance that when re-spawning, they could reform into a mess of body parts or an inky blob of color, if this is the case, they must be re-splatted so they can try to reform again. There's a very low chance of permanent injury due to the botched re-spawn, but it's still possible for their organs to get stuck where they don't belong, because of this, they must be taken to an hospital even if everything looks and feels fine.

They must be careful to not step on a grate without shoes, they would phase through it and end up naked... and who wants that?

There's an urban legend that if they hook up an ink tank to their bodies, they could end up inside the tank itself... But with careful testing, it turned out to be false.

Update 1

This condition is transmited both genetically and when in contact with infected ink. If a pregnant inkling or octoling were to contract this disease, there is a high risk of the child being born with the Melting Disease.

The child also has a risk of "blobbing" inside the mother and has to be aborted. Most luckily die when this happens. But sometimes they stay alive...

Update 2

There are some adults that think vaccines cause the Melting Disease.

...This is false, in actuality, it's a random mutation in the inkling or octoling's DNA. This mutation causes the afflicted's flesh to have a similar consistency to gelatin.

Update 3

Even though it's called a disease, its actually a "I born with this" condition.

Random Headcannons

Before the Great Turf War, the Inklings were actually called Squidlings!

And the two races; Squidlings and Octolings, were reffered as Inklings.

The reason for the change was due to forgetting Octolings existed and also eventual society changes.

I’ll add more things as i think up more details!
