Vanica Persephone (P.) Zogratis age 5: her magic had just developed, it was supposed to be a happy moment right? Every other kid in town was looked scared of her, many Mothers grabbed their children and pulled them away with looks of horror on their faces

But that didn't matter to her ( for that moment at the very least) because when she looked over at her Mother she was smiling, a look of pure pride on her face. As if she any worry she mare have had was wiped way.

Vanica P. Zogratis age 6: it had been a year since she developed her magic. And it was hell. Everyday in and out. Mother had told her she was special she was different from Dante and Lucius-nee, she told her she would make her into a proud warrior worthy of her name. It sounded good... Mother never prezed her or her brothers for anything-

A hard hit on her stomach she didnt even have time to process what had happened. One moment she was up on her feet (it felt like she was walking on nails) and the next she was coughing up saliva on the floor as hot tears rolled down her eyes and shot ran to her lips

She coughed and cried harder "M-Mom please,-" a loud 'Tch' escaped her Mother lips "A Sparda dose not beg"

Vanica P. Zogratis age 15: She had just gotten her Grimwore... It felt weird holding it her hands, but something about it made her feel nice.... Made her feel safe

However, that feeling was short-lived as she felt the way everyone else looked at her and whispered filled the room. She pulled her Grimwor close to her chest. Should I just kill everyone in here? She wondered to herself, she can. She was the second strongest person in here and god knows she wouldn't care and she was certain Mother wouldn't either.

"Vanica, come we have what we wanted. Now let us go." Her Mother ordered and without missing a beat Vanica quickly turned her heels and walked towards her. Mother percents demanded respect, she always cared herself with such pride she was unfazed by most things and never really raised her voice. Not even in all her arguments with Dante where he would shout his lungs out and she just looked... Annoyed? Sad? Like she was disappointed at him.

They walked back home in silence Vanica looking down at the Grimwor at her hands, though the silence didnt last long. To her right she heard the cry of a child and turnd to look, a kid with a bleeding knee siting on the ground crying its eyes out as its Mother ran over to them pulling them in their arms. When she would bleed her Mother would tell her to keep moving, to stand up and continue...

She didnt know how to feel.

Pain... It was a familiar feeling, one she knew too well. But this- this was different white-hot agony ran through her body blood was runing down her nose, her forehead and a bit on her mouth.

When they had gotten home Mother had ordered her to go against her in Kombat to see what Vanica can do with a Grimwore. Vanica likes to fight. She really does!! The adrenaline that gose through her when she fight Anemona is godly. But this, no, no, no fighting against Mother was just torture.

"Is that all?" Morther's voice rang through her ears, gods Vanica knew that tone too well for her liking. Mother was dissatisfied with her "If that is truly all you can do... Then I wasted my time with you" Vanica moved her eyes up from the floor, looking up at her Mother.

Disappointment.

That was the only thing on her face and Vanica's Heart was caught up in a knots She is not weak no,no,no she is not like Dante not like Lucius not like Zenon. She barely managed to stand up, something was boiling in her Chest. Maybe in some other life this was her breaking point, the moment where she became a beast and tore her own Mother to shreds. But Vanica knows better, Mother had made sure of that.

Vanica P.... Zogratis? Age 15 and a half: Father and Mother are getting divorced. The house was quiet, she had heard stories about what went on in the houses of people going through a divorce. It wasnt very pleasant. But things in Vanica's house were calm, no shouting, no fighting Father had a look on his face... Like he saw this coming as if it was long overdued. Lucius looked mad but she couldnt care to figure out at what. Dante was in the military so she didnt get to see him. Then theres little Zenon the baby of the family he hadnt the smallest idea of has going on, but a part of Vanica told her he didnt really care.

When everything was set and done Mother and her would be leaving to go to her Grandmothers home, were Vanica whould take on a new last name: Sparda... She liked Zogratis better.

Vanica P. Sparda age 17:

She had watched. Both she, Melina and Katana had watched as their mothers ripped each other apart like- like some wild animals. All for the title of Grandmaster of the Sparda, the honor to serve directly under Grandmother, to be her right hand in her work to serve the god that had made them. Vanica had looked over to her cousins they were both scared, worried about their Mother's life, they were holding hands through it all. Then she looked up, to her Grandmother ever since she had first arrived at this madhouse her face was constantly covered by a thick black veil but her body league was calme and steady. Despite the shouting and the howle of agony that had escaped her Mothers lips Vanica couldn't tell if her Grandmother just did not care or if she had seen this happen so many times before she simply stopped having a response. But when it was all said and done Vanicas Mother had won. Having lossed an eye in exchange for the title of Grandmaster, Melina and Katana were relieved, happy that there Mother was not dead but they dear not show it. Vanica... She wasnt sure she could say the same.
