AHHH! JUST WHAT I NEED! I just watched a sad episode and this has cured me! 😩😩😩😩😻🔥😳

This movie... Oh, this movie. It melted my heart, then ripped it out of my chest, then threw it on the ground, stomped on it until it was nothing but dust. And Lucas, you have made it onto my list of fictional husbands, a compliment of the highest order.

I just finished watching Jagten with Mads Mikkelsen (an old movie, I know) and I haven't been so angry and fired on about anything in a long time as I was with this movie. I don't want to write it down in detail so I don't want get some hate for my opinion. But I really wanted to hug Mads and take him away, put him in my bedroom and defend him from those idiots.. 😭 Those last two minutes were exactly how I feel among some people around me.

Like seriously, it was very strong and disturbing movie for me. 😵😵😵

And Mads is so brilliat actor, I really admire him so much. 💖

Summary: Y/n had gone to help a grieving mother, leaving Tommy to care for their youngest. 

A/n: I’m not necessarily sure of how good this will be, I grew up without a dad so I never really knew what it was like. I tried reading some dad!Tommy fics to kinda understand a little so we will see how this goes. Thank you for the request, it’s my first one and I am fairly excited to write it. Requests are open. I pretty much write anything. I used some lyrics from the song ‘My little girl’ By Tim Mcgraw. That song just touches my soul.

Tommy watched the car pull out of the drive as y/n went to console the wife of one of the Blinders who had lost her son. y/n was one of the most caring people Tommy knew, and that is one reason he admired her so much. 

Before she had left she put their youngest, Elizabeth, down for her nap. Hoping to not totally traumatise her husband with the responsibility of taking care of an 18 month old. 

It had not been even five minutes after y/n had left the house that the soft cries could be heard. 

Tommy had immediately jumped up instinctively rushing to the aid of his daughter. When he entered the room he was met with the sight of Elizabeth, arms hanging over the side of the crib, and small hands opening and closing around nothing but air. He took a few long strides over to where his daughter was, effortlessly picking her up and cradling her in his arms. He bounced her lightly to try to calm her, but nothing seemed to ease the toddler's nerves.

Tommy took in a deep breath, singly softly to the girl.

“You beautiful baby from the outside in, chase your dreams but always know the road that’ll lead you home again. Go on take on this whole world, but to me you know you’ll always be, my little girl.” He sang while gently bouncing her back to sleep. 

Despite his tough outside, he relished moments like this. The sweet moments with his girls, the girls he would give the world for. 

He made his way down the steps, carefully taking one stair at a time as to not wake the little one pressed against him. The couch was his next stop, he slowly eased down into the cushions, pulling a blanket over him and his baby girl.

Y/n approached the steps of their home, the house was silent, and she honestly didn’t know whether to be pleased or terrified. 

She opened the door, and walked in. Soft snores could be heard from a room over.

“Tommy?” She questioned, stopping herself from saying anything further when she saw their daughter cuddled up in her daddy's arms. Yn smiled, a tear slipping down her face. 

They looked so cute, and peaceful. Tommys arms wrapped around the small child, and her right hand reached up, holding onto his hair. 

The picture was everything Yn had always wanted in life, and it was times like these she preserved in her memory, that she branded into a special part of her. 

She set her stuff down, pulling the blanket up more to cover the two.

“I love you both.” She pressed light kisses to the tops of their heads, and went to lay down on the other couch. 

She was warned about being with Tommy, but underneath the shell he had created, was a regular man who just wanted to be loved, and to love. And with those two in his life, he would be set for life.

HUGS ALL AROUND!!!!!

Questioning whether or not I should watch this or if it will break my heart like Peaky Blinders did.
