I forgot about timezones too. That plays a major factor in replying to messages. And for some responding to messages can be overwhelming, especially if you have had a long day or aren't in the mood. I rather someone reply when they feel better and actually want to, rather than feeling forced to reply out of fear/anxiousness that the other person will get mad. And also if the person doesn't check in and ask how you are doing, but expects you to, then that is wrong. You are 100% allowed to take your time in responding to messages or asks. Nobody should bully or make you feel shitty for taking your time and looking after yourself after a long day, ,personal issues, etc Thank you for answering my asks and being so lovely and kind. 😊

Same goes for the people on the other end. If things are busy or chaotic, or you just aren't in the mood or headspace to have a conversation or respond to my messages, I completely understand. I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to put your own mental well being first. Please take some time away, unplug from social media if you need to and look after yourself and feel free to come back whenever you're ready.

Me: Well, it's been a really productive day of writing, thinking, doubting, deleting, copying, pasting, taking breaks to eat, working, scrapping, scripting and recording audios for Patreon and YouTube, making edits for TikTok that shouldn't take five whole hours, making character bios. Now, time for bed. My brain as I lay down: Why are you sleeping? Don't you remember all the stuff you gotta do tomorrow? This means no sleeping in even if you're this close to falling asleep on the table. Oh, and here's an idea for another fanfiction that you must write or your writing career will fall to pieces! And before I forget, let's think about all the embarrassing stuff you did as a kid. And what about the Peaky Blinders fanfiction, and your novel, which you must get done immediately or it will fail? And can we please think about that sad news story we stumbled upon earlier? Me: *slams face into pillow* GAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!
