so. bad news. we have to keep going tomorrow. good news is that I’ll keep going with you

some people think writers are so eloquent and good with words, but the reality is that we can sit there with our fingers on the keyboard going, “what’s the word for non-sunlight lighting? Like, fake lighting?” and for ten minutes, all our brain will supply is “unofficial”, and we know that’s not the right word, but it’s the only word we can come up with…until finally it’s like our face got smashed into a brick wall and we remember the word we want is “artificial”.

I love Gale that is why I want scenarios where he is not the romantic and perfect partner.

I want Gale to be petty when he is annoyed at Tav like giving Tav's morning tea without all their sugar and milk since Tav was rude about their morning routine.

Gale being passive aggressive because Tav forgot a date or an anniversary because they were busy after Tav promised to do something special.

Gale overstepping and bulldozing Tav's interest to a point that he does start mansplaining about it (*cough* druidic magic *cough*)

Gale not listening and only answering with "hmm" since he is so engrossed with his book/research

Gale becoming stinky and sweaty (the gross stink) from forgetting to shower and trim his beard because he is again busy with grading papers or research

I just love Gale and thinking how he is flawed in mundane ways in a relationship just warms my heart.

I can see that Happening

How do we think Halsin would react to being confronted with the werebear theory?

Me, I kind of envision it like a late-in-life autism diagnosis (or most other disabilities/chronic illnesses, I imagine). The "oh fuck, that's what's been going on this entire time? This is just who I am and always going to be? That explains so much!" And then later the "oh shit... this is who i am always going to be. There's no changing that." Followed by acceptance, obviously, because honestly what else are you gonna do

But I'm very open to other takes

So- I got artsy. And generally that’s a good thing. But I was inspired by a game I have yet to play- and that’s generally…not a good thing.

After coming across a clip of Astarion, I looked into Baldurs Gate 3. I’ve been looking at BG3 content for about- 3 days now-(saving up for the game.)and have fallen in love with the characters. (Wyll is probably my favorite character story-wise.)

My favorite character overall though, has to be Gale- and I’ve looked at a bunch of content surround him, and his canonical story and such- so if my art is completely offensive- I’m sorry- I didn’t know- I really tried to make it not.

So it started with this- and then-

I added stuff- flowers and stars mostly. I like it- and have never posted any of my art on this website- please be nice.
