You woke with a start, sighing as you stopped your alarm, your dreams kept taking you to a past you wanted to forget. You heard your son, Ben (Short for Benedict I didn't know what to name him) crying, you quickly got up and went to his crib, picking him up and comforting him, patting his back gently and humming a soft lullaby. You placed him back down when he calmed and fell asleep, leaving your room to cook breakfast. When you first moved into this quite decent apartment, you cried for days, until finally, you stopped yourself from moping, and stepped up. Finding a nice job and doing okay. You used some of the money you took to take a flight to Canada, living undetected from your mate- if he even still was- and his men. Today was your free day, and so you decided to go grocery shopping, you held Ben while browsing through aisles. Life was peaceful, but let us see how your mate is doing.

Phillip slammed his fist on the table, his scent spiking. "I don't give a damn how many places you search, I want her found! A whole fucking year and we still haven't found her!" Alpha SC soldiers joined their Alpha in anger aswell, discussing on which spots to hit next.
