Troy is so fucking fascinating because if you really think about it he’s one of those annoying characters who’s like “well it’s what my character would do so I’m gonna inconvenience everyone”. Like those players everyone memes on for misunderstanding an evil alignment. The ones who get banned from tables for having too much annoying main character syndrome.

But somehow he plays it so well it isn’t irritating it’s just really fucking funny

Posting this stupid tribute to JRWI Riptide I made when their hiatus first started, now to Tumblr to memorialize it (I originally posted it to Tiktok and the sound got copywritten 😞)

uh anyway

Troy used to be a totally popular and handsome human (as said by Troy himself) before he was transported into the world of Pokemon. Now a Scorbunny, he finds himself in a large Pokemon metropolis located underneath a different city, constructed with various discarded materials from above. The city of Reclaim. Troy looks for a way back to his human life, which leads him to bump into Blink!

Blink is a Rowlet who feels he needs to make up for his mistakes of the past, so he works for the Pelipper Postal Service within the city of Reclaim. Delivering packages and helping others however he can. However his bad past seems to catch up to him as he constantly has to avoid the watchful eye of the local guild/gang “The Vixens” and their leader, his old exploration team member, Aeon. Now tasked with delivering an important package, and helping a random Scorbunny who approached him, Blink has to stay cool and keep an eye out for any watchful eyes! Speaking of watchful eyes!

Runt is a small Dedenne who is a part of a local explorer’s guild/ gang “The Street Rats” and has a fascination with various gadgets and machines made from the city above. Shes honed her own abilities to be quite skilled in taking tech apart and build her own contraptions!! But after a scary skirmish in a dungeon on the way back from a “mission” Runt has been banned from The Street Rats, but Runt found a very strange gem in that dungeon, and now looks for someone who can show her what it is, in hopes of using it to make a gadget to get back into The Street Rats. She caught wind of a Rowlet and Scorbunny who know the way to someone who can help her.
