Call it what you want. Delusion. Denial. Whatever term is appropriate, I seem to be under its spell. For I have this one true love—Peter Parker (specifically Tasm!peter but let’s not go into that or I will go off on a tangent for hours) but increasingly I am being drawn into another relationship thanks to some very talented writers who, of late, have been creating some extraordinary works with other fandom’s characters. My head is being turned and what is a reader to do but carry on because fictional love triangles with fandom loves are THE way. I can have my Peter Parker cake and eat it any way I like. It’s a little overstimulating overwhelming I must confess, having so many delectable stories from which to choose, but what a problem to have, right?

Looking forward to reading more of this as well as other writers I follow.

Some of the comments surrounding this are skeptical of his motives but I think that is why it’s somewhat brilliant. It’s awesome because it has so much potential. It could be a loving thing for his family and fans…It could be the wildly divergent songs he always wanted to sing but wasn’t quite courageous enough or perhaps profitable enough/too risky to record and release now… it could be all the words he wanted to say…it could be revenge of the red-haired…it could be as simple as wanting to record something while his vocal cords are still healthy…it could be that, like all of us, he has no idea when his time will come and so it is a legacy album, a musical diary so to speak. There was a comment by someone who remarked ‘who will care in 80 years if he lives that long?’ which is rather short-sighted. I listen to plenty of singers who have long since passed. Music may be OF a time but to each of us it can BE timeless. Sheeran seems aware that our time on Earth is finite.

Watching Free Guy on television this evening and am reminded how much fun this movie is every time I view it. Jodie Comer, Ryan Reynolds, Taika Waititi, Joe Keery, Utkarsh Ambudkar, and the entire cast did such a great job. I recall reading that the original script called for a different ending, but I think the final version was the right choice.
