So Darby did not answer my questions, and I didn’t expect him to. But I did see him say this

It’s very clear at this point that Darby’s main concern in the last chapter was pure AC lore continuation, between the Isu and Basim. There was no focus on Eivor’s life or anything we cared about and played for 150-170 hours in base game. He did what he had to do to get to what he felt matters in the AC universe — her being Isu. she dies obsessing about the Isu and nothing else. “Everything else” was a lie.

Why I wasted my time playing Eivor’s entire back story for her ending to be her just obsessing about Odin until she dies is beyond me. This franchise absolutely sucks.

I just want to trace her scars and tattoos, run my hand over the shaved part of her head. Its so disapointing athat she will never be able to feel my love.
