...wait, Does Anyone In The McCall Pack Actually Realize Theo Had Just Been Tortured Before He Was Arrested
...wait, does anyone in the McCall Pack actually realize Theo had just been tortured before he was arrested in 6B? We the viewers are aware, but I don't remember him *mentioning* it at all. Or even implying it. And we all joke that he appears to be in better shape than the pack despite this, so... do they know? Is this untapped angst?
I need to go rewatch. I might need to write something...

Here take this while I work on my other project about Robert Sean Leonard

My contribution to the Much Ado About Nothing fandom!

i've heard some people saying that sterek is an older version of thiam. i do not agree (although everyone has their own opinion, and clearly, i have more affection for scisaac than sterek. BUT, for me, thiam is much more similar to scisaac).
i have a few parallels to point out to prove my point. so let's take a look at them, shall we?

isaac and theo are already similar characters. the two suffered abuse from their parental figures. the two lost their older siblings and were left without family, collecting a list of traumas.
liam and scott are different characters who deal with situations and trauma differently; but both are authoritarian figures (derek was too, but unlike scott and liam, he wasn't a good alpha. we can see that in the way he dealt with erica, boyd and isaac, when they were in his pack. liam is not an alpha, but as the series ends and the mccall pack leaves town, we see liam becoming the next authoritative figure. and liam's friends, his pack).
both isaac and theo follow scott and liam blindly throughout the seasons, once the two begin to trust them. resolving situations and working together (even if, in theo and liam's case, they pretend they don't care about each other).
scott tells stiles that isaac is his responsibility. liam tells scott that theo is his responsibility.
isaac gives up on leaving town to help scott once he realizes that derek isn't being a good alpha for him, boyd, and erica. theo is given a chance to leave town once liam and the sheriff free him so they can fight the ghost riders. theo could easily abandon liam after the ghost riders took the sheriff and walk away, but instead, he stays by liam's side and even sacrifices himself so liam can get away from the ghost riders and help scott.
theo and isaac were on the "wrong" side of the fight. but they had their moments of redemption and liam and scott grew to trust and care about them, always looking out for each other and making sure the other doesn't get hurt or involved in problems (even though liam and theo have trouble admitting these feelings).
maybe there are more things i missed, because my memory sucks; but here are some points that i always think about when analyzing these two couples (who are obviously in my top 3).
anyway, again, this is just my opinion and you guys are free to disagree if you want :)
And now, special thanks to: Keanu Reeves’ choice to deliver every single line in this movie in the exact same deadpan monotone thus making the line “….. loving husband” sound like he was addressing the two men in front of him, and of course, Donnie Yen’s choice to deliver the line “let’s go, John” in the exact same tone, rhythm, and inflection of the basketball jock in a 90s teen drama saying “let’s go babe” to a shaken yet besotted blonde as he casually puts an arm around her and turns to leave after beating up the school asshole at homecoming
