artists can price their shit however they damn well please. if you cant buy a mask and groceries, then while that sucks, that's not the artist's problem.

Art takes time, effort, and materials to make. Good fur and paint is expensive as hell. Realistic masks take hours to make and require skill. If you dont want to pay the price, the materials arent that difficult to get. make one yourself so you can realize that this shit doesnt just spawn in your lap. i cant afford most masks, so yknow what i'm doing instead of whining about prices? MAKING MY OWN.

Artists aren't just product machines, they're individuals with mouths to feed and things to do other than make you shit just so that they can underprice it and not be able to buy groceries for themselves. this isnt temu.

this annoys me so fucking bad as an artist, grow the fuck up.

have you brushed your fangs today, little creature? tearing into your favorite treats is much easier and more satisfying with strong fangs. take care of them, even if its only 30 seconds of brushing. any is better than none, and if you cant, mouth wash or a water rinse is still good for your fangs. you can even have a snack right after!

I wear a dog collar to school. Yes, every day. Yes, it has a tag and spikes. Do I get stares? Yeah. People don't really say anything to me about it, and if they do, they're- like- freshmen. i don't care about the opinions of 12-14 year old boys. the only thing i really do get for my collar is people either being passive-aggressive (two can play at that game), or i get people complimenting me on it. nobody has ever threatened me over it.

I don't wear a tail. i used to. i've had people take pictures of me, threaten to jump me, yell slurs at me, follow me home... so i stopped.

I didn't stop wearing a tail because I'm ashamed of who I am. i stopped wearing a tail to protect myself and people around me. because no amount of showing off and being proud is worth getting hurt over, or getting other people hurt over.

be open when it's safe to be open. your personal expression is not worth putting yourself into danger.
