(Oct 27) Day 1: what if we were extras and we kissed?

Starting off this event, we have non-main cast ships! These ships include the characters that we barely knew. Small role? Big ship! Do they even have names? Who cares, they're literally holding hands!

(Oct 28) Day 2: passing the bechdel test

Day two is your haven for sapphic ships! Canon girls, trans girls, genderbent girls, big girls, small girls, girls that aren't girls? Yes to all of them!

(Oct 29) Day 3: ... and they were roommates

Day three is focused on alternative universes, canon divergences, and what ifs. Get creative!

(Oct 30) Day 4: that doesn't seem physically possible

Day four is for ships who've never met. Canon? What canon? These two were probably never on the same planet, but they are in love.

(Oct 31) Day 5: monster mash

Day five is all about Halloween and general spooky vibes. Costumes, candy, ghosts, and monsters! Get down with the ooky spooky with your favorite rarepairs!

(Nov 1) Day 6: the more the merrier

Day six is for polyam ships. That character has two hands and the characters holding their hands also have two hands! This days theme is the only exception for "banned" ships. If your polyam ship involves a popular ship, then you can post it today!

(Nov 2) Day 7: free day!

Day seven is a free day! Anything that wasn't covered in the previous themes go here! This day also comes with an added (optional) challenge: try to make something for someone else's ship! Share the love and let's go out with a bang!

You would think that Wash is the mom of blue team, right?

Wrong, it’s Tucker.

Tucker had to parent Caboose since he arrived at blood gulch, making sure he ate something other than candy, making sure he took his medicine that was often hidden in food, making a sleep schedule so Caboose went to bed on time etc etc.

And then he had Junior and you bet your ass Tucker is gonna be the best dad he can be to that kid. That is his son. His pride and joy. The reason why he keeps going even when things get tough.

Which means that by the time Wash has joined the team, Tucker is a practiced parent. He can cook, he can make schedules and (mostly) keep to them, he can have emotional talks and knows how to comfort, he remembers so much shit off the top of his head (birthdays, favorite things, etc), he always has snacks, and everyone in the blood gulch crew look to him to make the final call.

He’s their trusted responsible adult. He is the mom.

Wash is the stepdad trying his very best to earn the kids’ approval. He’s awkward around them at first as he learns how to insert himself into their pre-established dynamics.

He’s unbelievably patient and kind to them, mostly because he feels the need to make it up to them and to repay them for saving his life, but he still has to earn their respect. Even after he does get their trust and friendship, he gets sass and snark for any order he gives, but at least they listen to him (and he can snark back without it turning into an argument).

(Does this make Church the dad of blue team? Maybe. Does this mean Tucker and Wash are married? In the eyes of everyone else, yes)

I think by the end of Tuckers arch they’d be the ultimate duo of making fun of church, also they’re my two favourite characters therefore they must be friends lol (ps like two seconds after this theoretically takes place they get into a scrap fight)

its like, wow. human communication thru the internet. except it feels personal. but yknow, in a nice way, not in an invasive way

The Reds and Blues are assholes, that much is known by anyone who gets the pleasure of getting to know them.

But there are moments when that mask of theirs falls, where the feelings they have for their teammates get pushed up for all to see. Because when you spend years with the same ten people, getting to know their quirks, their history, spending hour after hour, day after day, you kind of get attached.

So it makes sense that after all the time spent together, all the years they spent teasing and joking and sitting around with each other with no reprieve, that they'd get a little protective of each other from time to time.

There's been days where someone says something mean enough to make Caboose cry and suddenly they have Tucker and Grif roasting them into oblivion and threatening their entire family line. There's times when someone grabs Tucker a little too roughly and make him wince and suddenly Wash is at their shoulder yanking them away with a glare that could turn a man to stone. There's incidents where someone starts shoving Simmons around and Sarge cocks his shotgun and fires at their feet until they scatter away.

Yeah, they're assholes to each other. Yeah, they don't always get along. But when it counts, when it comes down to it, they're always gonna look out for each other.

Im incredibly amused by everyone loving junior’s presence in my blue team piece and i agree!!!!! he deserves to be included more!

Fuck drawing sangheili! Theyre so *gestures vaguely* and actually u know what??? vague is probably the easiest way to describe them bc u want to find a consistent visual on what their mandibles look like? Good fucking luck man

Furry sangheili artists dont know what theyre doing either ive LOOKED ok like i hoped maybe MAYBE the furry community in all their diversity could help me figure out a semi consistent way to draw these funky aliens and not a single artist agrees on their general shapes like
