Its canon that Hidan was mooching off Kakuzu. And that Kakuzu had to buy him things like clothes, food, weapons and pay for him, because Hidan just never has any money on him. I think Hidan either lost it (he does have some attention issues), gambled it away or just spent it frivolously. While Kakuzu was a notorious penny-pincher I still think he was loaded like especially if he had like 3 people working for him keeping his and Akatsuki’s books in order. Maybe even pocketing some of it.

Kakuzu is a master of deadpan jokes/comments that go completely over Hidans head.

Kakuzu doesn’t care if Hidan has to walk around half-naked since Hidan is shirtless most of the time anyway so buying him clothes is a waste of money. Maybe other reasons too…

Kakuzu is like onion. Behind all the levels of being mean and cunty he does give Hidan some semi-constructive feedback and some playful reassurance. Like yes its very like dry but coming from him its pretty…cute!

Hidan is very vain about his body and looks. Very fruity of him. He must have a 20 step skincare routine for immortal dudes. Idk moisturizing serum made from sacrifices or smth or just something normal like tsubaki oil idk.

The way Hidan gets so hyped up that Kakuzu calls him tough, completely disregarding that he also called him a dumbass, clinging to the praise, selective listening…

Hidan has a very one-track brain, he is really oblivious and bad at subtlety which makes him really easy target for teasing

Kakuzu is very mean but the banter is just so funny, keep it coming man
