fondly remembering that time I was working as a cashier when I was 19-20 and my former bus driver and his wife came through. He says to me "Hey, you look familiar" and I reply "Yes, I was one of the bus kids you drove, specifically the one you screamed at and threatened to ban from the bus and make walk home because I was crying out in pain while the other kids were ripping huge chunks of hair out of my head but you did nothing about them." and his wife slowly looked at him like this

"let men be feminine " crowd when they see a feminine black guy(cis or trans) and try not to be racist challenge.
I feel like feminine boys/gnc boys are mostly seen as like, a predominantly """"white thing"""" I never see feminine black guys get attention or praise at all, only met with bigotry from bigots, and racism specifically from so called progressives and other gnc guys.
gender, queerness and blackness is something that is never really talked about enough because like, our experiences are often overlooked and ignored, or our experiences are questioned and thoroughly searched for any validity. black lesbians exist, black trans people exist, black gay, bi, ace, and aro people exist.
(sorry if I don't make sense I have a lot of feelings for this)
everyone claims to be an ally to the disabled community until
- it’s a high support needs autistic
- the symptoms can’t be romanticized and are gross
- someone else’s disability starts to affect their life
- it’s a condition that cannot be cured
- someone is intellectually disabled
- someone is female and disabled
- someone is queer and disabled or black/POC and disabled
- someone is a minor and disabled
- ambulatory wheelchair users exist
- part time mobility aid users exist
- the “hellen keller wasn’t real” discussion
- they’re called out on their ableism
- someone is semiverbal/nonverbal
- someone doesn’t understand boundaries or the law
- someone has a deaf accent
- someone misses a lot of school or doesn’t go to school
- someone doesn’t want their disease/disorder cured
- someone does want their disease/disorder cured
- age regression
- having to mask for someone’s genuine safety
- actually needing to listen to disabled people’s opinions instead of immediately forming their own
- not infantilizing disabled people
- when a disabled person struggles with hygiene
- they see a “useless” disability aid
- they don’t agree with a disabled persons lifestyle or opinions
- until they have to put in work to be an advocate and a real ally to the disabled community.
everyone is a disability ally until things get hard.

she's a good girl :]
well sometimes.

this was funnier in my brain i think
