DJ had decided to enjoy the hot summery afternoon out on the deck that stretched out a bit over the water of the cove next to his house. He was lounging on a deck chair and looking at his phone wearing a light gray t-shirt and a pair of blue floral swim shorts.

Jade had said that she wanted to visit later once she had finished one of her hunts. He hadn't mentioned spending time out on the deck, but it was always an option.

His thumb tapped the screen again to look at her message once more...
