More Felix-was-a-gladiator headcanons

So, lots of powerful Romans had gladiators accompany them whenever they went out and about, especially in Rome, for protection. This modus operandi was especially popular at the time Ceasar died, so at the end of the Republic.

Just picture Felix as a gladiator working for a very influential and powerful Roman. He would be his bodyguard, following him everywhere.

The Roman our favorite man works for is very pleased with him and treats him better than all of his other slaves, who hate Felix for it.

One day, while the lord is strolling through the city with his family, they come across a very handsome man with a weird smile yet a very alluring personality.

Yes I'm talking about Aro. He takes one look at Felix and he's like: "Gotta have this strong boi™ all for myself".

At first Aro plans to do something grand, like killing the humans to leave Felix unprotected, but he decides against it.

When Felix's lord makes some comment about how Aro looks like he doesn't belong in Rome, Aro gently smiles and replies: "Seems like I'm not the only one who's not where they belong" and smirks at Felix.

Felix spends the following days trying to figure out what that weird man meant, until on the third night Aro shows up, all alone, to talk to him.

Felix is very confused as to why a powerful lord such as Aro would sneak in another's lord house to talk to a slave. Now that they're in the darkness he notices Aro's bright red eyes.

He's taken aback, each and every of his muscle is tense and ready for the action.

Aro smiles at him and answers his questions. He then leaves and promises to be back in six days' time, to see if he's ready to accept being turned. Aro hopes Felix will join his coven, but since this all happens before Heidi, all he can do is hope.

During those six days, Felix ponders about his life. He's a slave, a loved one for sure, but a slave nonetheless. It doesn't take him much time to realize he wants to join Aro.

Aro comes back and when he sees that Felix collected his items into one traveling bag, he smiles broadly.

26. You’re holding back (Romanian Coven fan fiction)

Vladimir stares blankly in the fire in front of him; he normally would be afraid of being all alone in the deep woods, but in this moment he doesn’t really care, and he’s not alone. Stefan has proven himself the bravest of the pair, for merely some hours prior he managed to escape the battlefield with his friend, who was and still is numb. The blond continues to stare, indifferent to his friend’s sighs and worried glances. Stefan looks down to his ripped jacket and he sees that also the coven’s seal has been ruined. He tries to put it back together, but he can’t. Deep inside of him, he knows fully well that it is not only the seal’s fate, but also the coven’s.  How could it ever be repaired? Most of his coven mates have been killed; without them, what use is a new coven? He gets up and starts to walk away from the fire, but Vladimir notices this and immediately gets worried. “You’re not leaving, I’m confident you know that” he simply says. Stefan looks at him, but he can’t find his brave friend anywhere. He nods and he sits again.Some days pass by, and yet Vladimir remains silent. On the third day, Stefan loses his cool and, when they stop to camp on a clearing, he just lashes out. He goes on and on about how the battle would and could have been won, how everyone in their coven had been an idiot and lastly how he felt like no longer had a purpose or a reason to stay alive. Vladimir still stares blankly at him. He nods and put a hand on Stefan’s shoulder, then gets back to prepare for camping. Stefan is outraged at this point and he cannot believe his friend is behaving this way. He calms himself down, he needs to be tactful to the one man left he cares for. “You are holding back, Vladimir” he tells him. The blond sighs; “Maybe” he replies “but what use would It be to lash out like you did? They are not coming back, no matter how loud I scream or how violently I cry, Stefan. We are the last of our kind, my friend, and it is up to us to maintain its legacy. So yes, I am holding back my rage and my strength for when we will face our enemies again”. Stefan stares at him and realizes he is right, only to start crying. Vladimir immediately hugs him, and soon both of them are shedding tears. They do not know what lies ahead of them, nor if they will ever find happiness again, but in this moment when they embrace one another, they couldn’t feel safer.

He could pen lyrics about the slope of Yuuri’s smile and the way he bites his lip to try to keep the laughter inside. The sparkle in Yuuri’s eyes would be enough to give hope to even the most lovelorn soul. The warmth of Yuuri’s body pressed against his and the bubbling heat of the feelings he induces in Viktor would be more than enough protection from even the harshest of Russian winters. Yuuri laughs again and ducks his head, embarrassed, and Viktor covers his mouth with his hand because he thinks he may have said some of that out loud. Oops.
