First of all, she wasn't eaten ALIVE??? Second of all, she wasn't eaten by her lover. Isaiah wasn't her lover, she was kidnapped, abused, and drugged, she had this skewed idea of what happened, but realised that wasn't her lover at all in ptolemea? Like strangers isnt cannibalism as a metaphor for love, at least not to Isaiah, it's hunger, desperation, and control. And I think ethel's 'am I making you feel sick? ' could mean multiple things, I believe it's a representation of wanting to see guilt from Isaiah (another man who has betrayed/abused her) and the worry is Ethel having the idea of existing to serve and be good. Idk I'm really glad this person liked it like this, and if you think this of the album and still have an amazing experience, you do you, but I think this album is so much deeper than that and deserves to be analyzed.
