How do objects get around or manipulate objects with those noodle stick limbs? Are object limbs powered by water pressure like spider legs?

Since I’ve established they came from insects, it primarily works like insect legs in that there’s a segmented carapace thing and it’s moved by muscles, similar to humans sans internal bones. However, this carapace has some flexibility to it. Not as much so in like the legs with have to hold a whole body up, but more in the arms. So theyve got a secondary muscular system kinda like octopi that allows for more flexing of their limbs but it takes a lot more effort. This development may have adapted as part of their mimicry thing they got going on where having more flexibility to their limbs would make it easier to hide the fact that they’re there. Does that make any sense? Idk if that makes sense but I have to go to work soon so I’ll figure out why that would never work later

I finally finished with AvA & AvM designs! And I am very happy with them :D

Now I can go back to working on other things ^^

is actually two different organisms that are just really good at getting along (sometimes) Membrane {she/he/they} is the more chaotic one, she doesn’t have a mouth or eyes so she can’t really speak but she can see somehow [I don’t know don’t ask] & Nucleus {he/they} he’s much more responsible than his female counterpart, he doesn’t have any limbs so he struggles to move without rolling (he doesn’t like rolling either though because he claims its ‘undignified’ so he decided to ask Membrane for help one day and she just kinda.. picked him up and put him in her head and then he had limbs and they were a conjoined being. Membrane can still take control of her own body and toss Nucleus out whenever she feel’s he’s being intolerable but Nucleus can also pilot her body kind of like a mech suit whenever she gives up bodily control to him (it’s never forced though, she’s always willing). Membrane also communicates in stomps and claps and the occasional Morse code.
