— 2021 review 

i’ve been tagged on little games related with 2021 & i’ve seen a lot of people posting about their 2021, so i’ll just drop a little review of my year before doing those little games.  

my 2021 was a hell, to say the least. 

i honestly don’t know how i did survive this past year because god, everything went wrong... unfortunately, my mental health was extremely poor last year due to a lot of reasons & i’m still recovering from all of it, i guess i will for a long time. a lot of bad things happened during that year that really led me to destroy myself as well as everything around me, it got to the point where i completely deactivated my account here, but i don’t regret it as i get to experience all the first times with tumblr that i don’t remember experiencing with my previous account.  

BUT —  

2021 allowed me to meet a bunch of fantastic people here that just helped me navigate through this year. i guess i wouldn’t have made it without them because they honestly brought the best out of me when i was at my lowest. even if today i don’t speak with some of them, i’ll forever be thankful our paths crossed. i simply will always be grateful for every single one of you because despite everything that happened, you encouraged me to share with you what i love most that is writing. 

i’m hopeful 2022 will be better, at least, i’ll keep fighting my inner demons to make this new year a lot better than 2021 was. i wish you all a very beautiful & wonderful 2022 💗 keep thriving, take care & drink plenty of water 💗

Christmas Confession by @sunshinerainbowsbts 🔞 😈 💘 IF MY SECRET SANTA NEXT CHRISTMAS ISN’T KNJ AND A BOTTLE OF LIQUOUR I WILL PROTEST. Sunny as always this was perfect, flirty, sweet, cute and incredible.

Second Heart by @reliablemitten 🔞 💔 😈 💘 Jess, first can we both get a hug for stupid men, making us write like this, also KNJ why are you the perfect conduit for us to express our pain? Oh well, Jess you write so beautifully, the way you wrote this was like a poem, everything flowed so beautifully and smoothly, only for you to realise that there is no concrete end, and sometimes you need to be okay with that, that sometimes things will simply suck, and its the hardest to move on from something like that. It was cathartic to read this, and I hope it was just as cathartic for you to write this.

Stuck With You by @taleasnewastime 🔞 💔 😈 💘 Oh, okay. I know you warned saying that it could get emotional, but I thought I’d be fine, but oh my goodness this got me very teary-eyed. What a beautiful story, just so loving, warm and gentle, so kind, and loving and understanding. Compassion and comfort during the cold winter months, what a beautiful read 💕

Winter Solace by @floralseokjin 🔞 💔 😈 💘 First of all, why is Nox the most perfect name for a cat? I love it, second I love Christmas/Winter fics especially when they have a sad/angsty feel behind them. Idk, don’t ask me. This was so beautiful, the way the story progressed it reminded me of the build-up of the holidays, where you try so damn hard and sometimes you might lose sight of what’s really important, but when the holidays finally come around you realise that at that moment nothing else matters. What a beautiful story of growth, love and warmth ❤️

Friend's With History by @httpknjoon 🔞 💔 😈 💘 Oh the pain the angst, oh my god I cannot wait to watch this story unfold, especially a Jin break up AU ooof, very excited. It’s so well written already that I can feel my heart breaking into two.

Sana by @go1denjeon 🔞 💔 😈 💘 ANGEL I WANT MY HEART TO BE REPAIRED FOR THE FACT YOU BROKE IT, BUT SINCE ITS YOU ITS FINE. This was so painful, and yet the way you write its so fucking real that I don’t mind if you want to break my heart, Angel please do.

5 Times You See Seokjin and 1 Time You Do Not by @vyduan 🔞 💔 😈 💘OH MY GOD IM SOBBING THIS WAS SO SWEET, I CANNOT, THIS WAS SO SWEET AND ENDEARING. So real as well, Seokjin has my whole heart and this fic encompassed exactly how I feel about him, he’s truly so endearing and loveable but there’s a deeper layer to his personality, something that is a little bit more insecure and shy, but when you dig deeper you realise we all have our fears, but if you just let him love you, he’ll bare his insecurities and love you for yours and learn to heal his own. This was so sweet, I’m quite speechless.

Better Together by @bubmyg 💘 I have the softest spot for domestic soft jin fics and this one checked off all the boxes, what a lovely read. 🥺

Ugh Fuck by @kithtaehyung 🔞 😈 💘 WELL WELL ANOTHER FIC WHERE RYEN HAS RUINED ME COMPLETELY THANK YOU FOR THIS. UGH THIS IS A DUO I DIDN’T KNOW I NEEDED BUT DESPERATELY WANTED.

Set Me Free by @myooniverse 🔞 💔 😈 💘❌ OH THE WAY I BINGED THIS IN ONE SITTING, IDK WHAT HAPPENED DURING MY TEAM MEETING. You’ve woven, such real, raw and painful memories and moments into something so beautiful it’s truly a sight to behold. Two troubled and hurt individuals finding comfort in one another, truly a healing fic to read, thank you for this.

The Dark by @bratkook 🔞 😈 💘 OH WOW, THIS WAS VERY SEXY. A YOONGI DEMON FIC IS WHAT I DIDN’T THINK I NEEDED BUT WHAT I GOT. I think the last paragraph of the fic summed up exactly how I felt ooof. I can’t get enough!

Flatmates by @taleasnewastime 🔞 💔 😈 💘 Oh this was so well written, as always, your stories leave me wanting more, what a beautiful story. I love the build up too, how it went from post-its, to conversations to just properly enjoying one another’s company. This fic did make me reflect a bit and wonder the lengths the guys go IRL to protect their loved ones, or to conceal who they are just to get a semblance of a normal life. I loved this story, it was incredible and it left me thinking. 💕

Ghost of You by @ressjeon 🔞 💔 😈 💘 Yannie, this is one of the first fics I read from you, who knew we’d become friends, so I realised I never ever yelled about it to you. So I shall now, you know, from one angsty hoe to another, thank you for this fic. I love this because sometimes, simply just loving someone, and even if they love you back. Right time and wrong place is a fucking thing and this fic did just that, thank you for breaking my heart.

Project Dream Girl by @bonvoyagenoona 🔞 💔 😈 💘 This was so healing to read. I can't even comprehend how comforted I felt by this story. What a wonderful story, and yes Jimin. You're right, fuck kitten heels 😉

First Snow, Last Kiss by @taeshobipop 🔞 💔 😈 💘 Nye, my love this is so cute and ugh, every thing I love was in this fic, angst, smut and fluff. This was so endearing and warm, a perfect Christmas fic. So sweet and tender to read 💕

Divergent by @nochunacho 🔞 💔 😈 💘 I haven’t read a social media AU in a while, and this was a perfect way to break into this genre. I love social media AU’s they have their own magic, it feels so real and like in a way so immersive. I loved this fic, but several people in this fic are catching these hands because ooof. 🤧

Begin Again by @kookiestarlight 🔞 💔 😈 💘 I love divorce AU (idk why don’t ask), but this is so well written and I love the pace of this fic, because it takes it’s time to explore the pain, the grief and the hurt that comes with divorce. It feels so real and emotional, and ugh, my heart aches for both, but I love it, and I can’t wait to see the story unravel.

Ruin You by @taegularities 🔞 💔 😈 💘 RID. MY GOODNESS WHAT WAS THIS. I- WELL YOU DEFINITELY RUINED ME WITH THIS STORY. You write so incredibly well, but the way you write smut for Jungkook is divine, but the way you write smut for Taehyung is straight up sinful, this was such a sexy read and oof I can’t wait to watch this story unfold.

(Re) Starting Over by @httpknjoon 🔞 💔 😈 💘 Oh gosh, so I read chapter one, and then I couldn’t find it for the life of me, and then stumbled upon it. This story hits close to home so I’m intrigued and hooked to find out what happens as this couple tackles their story. 🥺

Unfinished Business by @dntaewithluv 🔞 💔 😈 💘 Oh Kenz, the way you write, you always make swoon with your writing, ugh the way her heartbroke at first is vey fucking relatable, but then finding a new love, the one who’s been there all along, it was so sweet. BUT THE SMUT, MA’AM THAT WAS *CHEFS KISS* AS ALWAYS YOU HAVE MADE ME 🥵🥰

What Do you Do When You Have Just Been Cheated On? by @1uvtae 🔞 💔 😈 💘❌ Okay, was not was I expected, but exactly what I needed? So much fluff, angst and smut and ugh, just Taehyung being the best boy ever, he’s morally grey, but his intentions are clear and pure, even if the way he went about it was eh. But I don’t mind that’s real life, which is what I loved so much is that this fic wasn’t black or white in terms of right or wrong, it focused on the grey area of morality, and I adored that because that is life. What a wonderful read.

Spin Cycle by @miscelunaaa 🔞 😈 💘 A very intriguing snippet, and it’s set around a spin cycle/class then sign me tf up, because ooh, I’m never going to my spin class the same, very intrigued to see how this story pans out 🥰

Death of Me by @lookingforluna 🔞 💔 😈 💘 I remember the photo!! Omg, this had everything I loved, angst, miscommunication, trouble in paradise and all that, and then ofc SMUT. Which was very hot, the mirror?? HELLO THAT WAS HOT AF PHEW 🥵

Hit the Slopes by @bratkook 🔞 😈 💘 OOOF competitive JK, but who has a humbling kink? Love it, I love how sweet and domestic and yet smutty this was. What a lovely winter fic 🥵

My heart ached for these two, but that’s why I love angst so so much, because it’s so real, and sometimes it just isn’t meant to be after all that effort. (Tho my heart is wondering if we’ll see this pairing again? 👀)

Okay, this was so sweet and amazing, to watch their relationship unfold during a road trip was an incredible metaphor because it felt like one. Smooth sailing at one moment then awkward and then bumpy then smooth again, I loved how the parallels worked, I loved this story how sweet and tender.
