growing up my mom would tell me, “don’t play with the dogs, their gonna think that your a dog too and not listen or respect you like they do humans!”

and well- my dogs understand that im not a human. they understand that im one of them. we chase each other and cuddle in a dog pile. they understand, always have.

that’s why they don’t respect me like a human, they respect me like a dog.
