COMPLAINING ABOUT HOW FANDOM HANDLES JUMIN AGAIN

Why is it, fandom, that of all the messed up and broken boys of Mystic Messenger, it’s JUMIN you latch onto to say ‘oh, he doesn’t love MC! He just latched on to her because she was there, he probably doesn’t even see her as her own person’

not 707 who has a literal breakdown

not Yoosung who spends the whole route superimposing Rika over MC

not Ray who’s a broken mess

not even V who is the only one that actually WAS in a relationship with Rika

no it’s Jumin Han that you make comics and hot takes about how he doesn’t see her as a person or uses her as a replacement for Rika, even though this is addressed in his route. Who would fall for MC in the span of two weeks? I don’t know, ask EVERY OTHER CHARACTER. Jumin is ultra dedicated? SO IS EVERYONE ELSE. Heck, we even see them married a year+ onward and still happy, yet these bad hot takes still exist because fandom refuses to get Jumin right

DAY 2 (JULY 8TH): SINK OR SAIL As good captains, we all have a ship we’d set sail on. Which is yours?

When I first started watching 5d’s my favourite shipp were Yusei/Aki, but damn NOTHING can compare to Jack/Carly.

Although it’s true that Aki has a lot of character development, that is expected since she’s one of the main characters. I thought Carly would be random NPC that follows Jack in hope she will get her scoop. I love how their relationship progressed from roommates ( lol) to someone who Jack wanted to protect at all cost. 

The way Jack is shocked that Carly is Dark Signer, the way he admits she’s the one who helped him in a way rebirth as a new person, she’s the one who gave him strength to walk on his own path; those are all reasons why I love them together. 

They will forever be my favourite shipp :)

I really want Willow to teach Randall how to properly fight, bc he got tired of seeing him eat dirt due to Randall willing to fight for whoever can't/won't fight for themselves. Willow both sees him fighting fights he knows he can't win as both stupid and honorable bc of the reason Randall chooses to fight (Magda may or may not have mentioned her worry over this before when she thought he couldn't hear her & he heard Shatina wanting to teach him and he took mercy for him by teaching him first.)

Haha, I am pretty sure he wouldn’t survive Shatina as a teacher, at least with Willow he has a way to survive before he goes to fight his opponent.

Anon, you gave me interesting topic to think about! I imagine their lesson would look something like this:

Willow explaining battle stance, how to use opponents weakness against them; Randall getting  frustrated because that is not a  gentlemanly way to fight, is far from elegant and he keeps  interrupting  him to ask him what is the name of stance or fighting style. 

No joke, I would love to see this!

DAY 1 (JULY 7TH): STARDUST ACCELERATION

Accelerate! We’re kicking off into overdrive by starting this month off with our hero of the hour! Rev it up by showing us how YOU celebrate Yusei Fudo’s birthday!

DAY 4 (JULY 10TH): SONGS TO FIX A D-WHEEL TO

My favourite song from 5d’s. Yeah, super sad etc, but whenever it played some amazing moments happened.

Also, this in my opinion is not only the best 5d’s ff, but also one of the best ff’s ever xd

When I started playing Helix Waltz, Barris was my favourite, but damn did Willow stole my heart at the meantime 

Let’s ignore the fact that he’s drop  dead gorgeous, what I like about his character is that he’s so different from many elves I have seen in the media. 

He wants for someone to see the real him, and he’s aware that he’s popular just because he plays the role of eloquent, perfect artist. 

He allows Magda that sees the real him who loves to engage in fist fights in shady slum areas and she still doesn’t treat him differently ( while the rest of the nobles would be disgusted by him)

He loves that Magda has a sense of adventure just like him, and he LOVES the fact he was saved by her ( during the Spring festival) He loves when Magda acts all strict with him ( during the set outfit story)

Not to mention it was totally romantic when he literally risked his immortal life just to sing the song of pure love for her.

I hope in the future we will get more moments with Willow, or even with other potential love interest, and let’s face it, Magda has them a lot :)
