Notes: Writing about Lisa’s curse may be my favorite angst yet </3 She deserves all the kisses in the world.


She had told you.
She had.
She had sat down with you one beautiful evening, she had brewed your favorite tea and she had held your hand as the words left her lips.
And you had listened.
You had listened to any and all of her words. How it all began, in one gorgeous city across the country from where you were sitting, the wonders of nature blooming around every nook and corner, the library that Lisa had come to treasure so much, the book that started it all.
The book that would end it all.
Lisa had cried, and you had held it through her tears. Or it would be fairer to say that her eyes had grown glassy at the memory, and you’ve always been weak for her emerald gaze; so you leaned to her, palming the side of her face as her lips bloomed into a sad smile, a single tear making its way down her cheek. She had told you. And you had listened, with a heavy heart and a resolute emotion taking root in your chest.
