'trans men have to put in so much effort every day just to be seen as men, and all trans women have to do is put on a skirt and makeup.' It completely erases the struggles ALL trans people face to pass, be taken seriously, etc just fucking stop it. There are only so many times you can make the same invalidating joke until it just becomes invalidating.

as if there isn't "masculinizing makeup" tutorials and trans men beefing up their facial hair rogaine and or makeup, and packers, and STPs and binders, and makeup for covering your scars, and and and it's like please speak trans men and stop making shit up oh my god. trans men/mascs put in so much work.

i felt very pushed to stop identifying as a nonbinary/genderqueer person and instead identify as a man and a woman so i "could" identify as a lesbian & a gay man by the other queer people i knew, for a while, and then i realized that's just reinventing the binary. i'm allowed to be a genderqueer butch lesbian & gay bear. i'm allowed to be a genderqueer whatever the hell i want. fuck reinventing boxes to shove people into they're not real fags & dykes can do whatever the fuck we want

The reality is that trans people are just as intersexist as cis people, every single day, constantly, all the time, even the most Woke of you, even the ones of you who have been friends with one of us for years. And it hurts more coming from y'all. Especially when every time I talk about this without specifying that trans people are doing this, that's always tags like "yeah fuck cis people" like no buddy. This is perisex nonsense, not cis nonsense. You all have created a false binary of oppressors that excludes your own perisex privilege. Convenient!

There's no wrong way to be queer. I received some anons today forgetting that, so instead of giving them more than a nod in ways of attention, I am here to remind you that:

if you're a lesbian who's a man/gay for men as a woman

if you use xenopronouns and/or neopronouns

if you date men as a lesbian or if you date as a loveless aro (or as an aro in general)

if you have sex as an ace person

if you abstain from sex and dating

etcetera, your experience is real. Your experience is supported here, and by people who are worth your time. People who say you can't do something while using a certain label, or mock your experiences, are not worth your time. There are horrible things directed at the queer community, and it's important to surround yourself with people who support YOU for YOU. The LGBTQ community seems to have issues with that but trust me when I say there are people who will support you.

I find myself upset when someone comes into my inbox to spread their closeminded views, but I remind myself that I am not doing anything wrong by existing. Neither are you. Keep being a staple of the queer experience. <2
