Adult. Not a safe space for TERFs, the labrys flag is not your hate symbol by the way. I use this blog for whatever I want, mostly screaming into the void and uplifting obscure queer identities. Warframe and Sonic content likely. Scary transandrophobia truther. More in pinned. [Profile picture ID: a monochrome cutout of Satou Matsuzaka smiling with a striped bow in hand, with a background featuring the most common lesboy flag. Trans man: *acts vulnerable*
Queerspaces: “Stop acting so meek and fragile! You are taking advantage of being afab!”
Trans man: *acts tough*
Queerspaces: “Just another toxic misogynistic man. You may be trans but you still have all the same privileges as a cisgender man!”
i love the sheer variety i see when i meet trans men, trans boys, transmasc butches, ftms and the transmasculine community. no two transmasculine people you meet are the same. you'll meet tough boys, soft men, guys who love makeup, people who dress like they're from a specific period in the past, proud butches, dudes who dress like freaks, dapper gentlemen, lesboys and lesbian men, goofy boydykes, silly bros and your best friend. the transmasculine community is rich in diversity and every person you meet has a lot to teach you about what masculinity and manhood mean
trans men are handsome and it's fine if you think we're handsome & attractive no matter what we look like. it's good to like men with breasts, men with soft features, men who are curvy, men with big hips & thighs, men with vaginas, men who don't have hairy bodies or faces. it's good to like men no matter what bodies, shapes and sizes we are. as long as you respect that man's boundaries, needs, and privacy, it's not bad to think they look good as they are.
understanding the individual's needs, not forcing compliments on them they don't want, avoiding language that makes them uncomfortable and ultimately showing the person respect in needing to be addressed and viewed certain ways are the keys to appreciating the way a trans person looks without being disrespectful. it's not inherently chaser behavior to like how trans men look. it's a good thing, it's a healing, beautiful, powerful thing. it's t4t love. it's a wonderful thing to love trans men for how we look, no matter what stage of transition we're in, if we choose to transition at all
Say it with me, because it seems some people (targeted) have forgotten this:
A gay man's lack of attraction to women is not misogyny.
A bisexual man's choice to date men is not misogyny.
A bisexual man's choice to date women is not misogyny.
A bisexual man's choice to date no one is not misogyny.
An asexual man's lack of attraction to women is not misogyny.
A trans man's response to trauma with womanhood is not misogyny.
A straight trans man's transition is not to escape misogyny, and it is not misogyny.
A bisexual trans man's choice to date men, women, neither, or both is not misogyny.
A gay trans man's lack of attraction to women and not wanting to be called a woman, is not misogyny.
Gay trans men distancing ourselves from womanhood, often as a response to being forced to be women for many years, is not misogynistic!
Queer men are not inherently more misogynistic than men who aren't queer. Queer men's queerness is not misogyny.
so i'm in this backyard chickens group on reddit and someone just discovered their hen is transitioning and everyone is stoked

anyway in case you didn't know chickens will sometimes spontaneously f2m and it's pretty cool
