Adult. Not a safe space for TERFs, the labrys flag is not your hate symbol by the way. I use this blog for whatever I want, mostly screaming into the void and uplifting obscure queer identities. Warframe and Sonic content likely. Scary transandrophobia truther. More in pinned. Xenogenders Might Be Confusing To Those Who Don't Use Them, Especially Cis People, But Over The Years
xenogenders might be confusing to those who don't use them, especially cis people, but over the years i've come up with a tried and true method for explaining them, or at least some of them.
xenogenders, for those who don't know, are genders that cannot be described in typical gender terms (masculine, feminine, neutral, ect). to explain xenogenders to those with only this perspective, i try to connect common xenogender concepts to binary genders. the examples might seem a little silly/stereotypical, but just bear with me here.
let's say a man really likes trucks, and feels connected to his manhood when he's driving one or engaging with them. there is a xenogender called truckgender: a gender connected to trucks. additionally he feels closer to his manhood when he is listening to metal songs. there is a xenogender called metalgender: a musicagender connected to metal music.
let's also say a woman feels her womanhood strongly when she's called "wife". there is a xenogender called wifelexic: a lexic gender connected to the word "wife". along with this she likes the color pink, and associates her womanhood with it. there is a xenogender called pinkgender: an aesthetigender connected to the color pink.
now just replace "man/woman" with "person" and "manhood/womanhood" with "gender". yes, everyone with a gender probably experiences at least one thing that could be labeled as a xenogender, but it's a persons choice to self label and make it a part of their identity that's the key difference. if you don't want to label something as a xenogender, you don't have to! i have plenty of gender associations i don't label as specific xenogenders.
i hope this made xenogenders a little more understandable! this is by no means an exhaustive explanation, just one i've used to introduce people to some of the base concepts. theres lots more ways to be xenogender!

Every time I get even remotely harassed for being queer, I become more outwardly queer. I can't be contained. My queerness is like a nuclear biohazard.
No bc how the hell did the trans community go from “TERFs are so dumb. Women can very much oppress marginalized men. It’s honestly very concerning that they think men are demons who need to be put down.” to “TRANS MEN ARE ALWAYS OPPRESSORS WHO NEED TO BE EXCLUDED BC THEY’RE MEN AND TESTOSTERONE WILL MAKE YOU EVIL AND PHALLO IS DUMB BC PENIS BAD AND”
so i'm in this backyard chickens group on reddit and someone just discovered their hen is transitioning and everyone is stoked

anyway in case you didn't know chickens will sometimes spontaneously f2m and it's pretty cool

the solution for taking care of "unsightly" homeless people is to house us. that is the only solution. if you can't stand the look of someone living on the sidewalk, you shouldn't stand for them being put into that situation to begin with. housing us is the only answer.
