I’m begging you

Put a reporter and early version of a newspaper in your dnd campaign

At the end of every mission/ordeal have the reporter interview the players as to what happened

After session on the campaign discord type up a hilariously uncharitable summary of the events that took place and start making falsehoods. And most importantly: spell a party member’s name wrong

“Local sea elf beats vandal and promises to kill again”

“Star cross lovers, gangsters come to tragic end at the hands of murderous vigilantes”

“I met the night and they purred"  

Based on this post

Imagine if Mary Collins, the sorceress from 1x01, hadn’t died and instead became a recurring antagonist (of questionable morals)

You know... I really vibe with that. I feel like it could have been a really nice intro to other “villains” too. Like, Mary goes to team up with Nimueh and is explaining to her that Uther killed her son and Nimueh is just like “I have to help her. This whole thing is my fault. If I hadn’t agreed to help Uther then none of this would have happened” sort of thing. It feels like it could have been good for background building and stuff.

Also, she showed she could transform into different people and I LOVE that kinda shit bc we would never know who she was. We could have had her come in as another character close knit to the protagonists and at the end of an episode do the mirror thing and see it’s Mary.

Not to mention it would have been cool for her to be the one to get Morgana to turn against Uther and we could have explored Morgause in a different role... yeah. I really like this. 10/10.
