Negative energy meets a bunch of wires. The red wires on his arms and legs are not wires. Those are long IV tubes connected to a machine that is sucking out his blood and returning into his body because it's only purpose to to suck the energy out of Edwin so Edwin can suck it back in trapping him in a endless loop of misery. The the red wires in his mouth are regular wires. Also Edwin is technically a merman who can grow and shed his legs to this is also my first picture for mermay too.
