The Royal Scientist Is Known For Shady Experiments She Performs And Deadly Machines She Builds And Controls.

The royal scientist is known for shady experiments she performs and deadly machines she builds and controls.
Only a few of those ordered to be transported to the lab came back. The sick are never seen again and the guards return… different. Monsters who live in Hotland and the capital heard of the reason for those transformations and disappearances, "determination". Something withing the souls of the fallen that allows them to persist after death once injected into monsters makes them fearless and more difficult to kill. At first the determination experiments and their side effects were kept secret, but once the royal scientist saw the potential for protection of monsterkind being silent about it became impractical.
Yet the creation of soldiers is not the only use of determination, as it seems to be able to give the will to live to things that never lived to begin with. Alphys the royal scientist found a way around the difficult engineering process, using monster dust, determination and ghosts' ability to posses objects to create machines that prevent fallen attacks and resident monsters from escaping their designated location.
The first machine that got Alphys her position was a "robot with a soul" that now calls himself Mettathew. While after his creation he went against the underground's status quo, joining the golden flower as it's right hand man as a propagandist, Alphys still keeps upgrading his body into an effective fallen eradication device.
Now Mettathew provides entertainment to the monsterkind. Most see him as a distraction from the "real" problems like a potential new fallen, the other few consider him an oracle of the golden flower that will eventually free monsters.

It seems Undyne's armor suit makes it difficult to traverse Hotland. Unfortunatly you had to abuse that fact to end the battle with her peacefully.
Yet you have to come back, as Papyrus called you to "hang out" with Undyne. Hopefully he can convince her that you are not worth being killed on the spot.
In her house you found out that her suit is not just mechanized armour, it allows her to walk. Whatever experiments the royal scientist had to coduct on Undyne led to her barely being able to walk without aid.
Even in her weakened state you don't take the apportunity to harm, just following Undynes plan instead. Undyne sees that you are here to come to a peaceful solution even when there is no threat present.
Even if she knows that your soul is one of the keys to freedom, she'll leave your soul to somebody else. Perhaps if you find nother way, she will be on your side.

Monsters told you their story, the reason you will have to give up your soul.
The castle now stands before you, looming over the empty gray city.
Golden hall, murky air, light barely shines through covered windows. A familiar figure stands in your way.
so you finally made it.
the end of your journey is at hand
in a few moments, you will meet the king
and together…
you will determine the future of this world.
that's then.
now.
you will be judged.
you will be judged for your every action…
(The figure speaks of your actions, both good and bad, every time you made friends, every time you ran away, every time dust was on your hands. What results will your actions bring.)
no matter how much or little pain you've caused
your soul alone won't bring us freedom.
neutrality will bring us nowhere,
you need to act upon what you have.
what will you do?
...
well, if i were you, i would have thrown in the towel by now.
but you didn't get this far by giving up, did you?
that's right. you have something called "determination."
so long as you hold on...
so long as you do what's in your heart...
i believe you can do the right thing.
alright. i'm counting on you, kid.
good luck.
(The skeleton steps back into the darkness of the hall and disappears.)

The core was full of mercenaries and flower cultists, but machines were surprisingly friendly, as if listening to your reasons to let you through. Now, to the last man standing in your way, the robot preformer himself. This time he won't go easy on you, he has to get your soul. For monsterkind's freedom. After a short prelude and a click of a switch, the true show begins. But something goes horribly wrong.

To heck with it, I'm halving my commission prices, I'm curious. Every single commission would go a long way for me right now and allow me to make more art overall.
Opening commissions!
0/3 slots taken
If you are interested, contact me at [email protected] or DM me on Tumblr
Make sure you've read terms of service here:
Pay only via Paypal and in USD.
You prepay 30% of the final price on receiving a sketch WIP.
Refunds are not allowed.
To get your commission done properly, make sure you respond to e-mails with WIP work with either an ask for correction in the art or aproval.
WIP images may contain a watermark and be smaller than the final piece.
Work on your commission may take some time (1-3 weeks), remember sometimes there are a few of you requesting at once. You will be notified about anything that can slow down the progress.
If you request to change something you have previously approved of, I may require additional charges (for example you cannot ask me to change the character's pose when i'm working on the colors of the piece).
You are not allowed to use the piece commercially (unless agreed otherwise, in which case the price is 3 times of the non-commercial work)
You are not allowed to claim the artwork as your own
Backgrounds more complex then flat color might require additional pay depending on the complexity of the background.

Despite the pain memories bring, she has to stop you. This is less of a pacifist route post and more just what Toriel looks under the robe she usually wears. Kind of kept her the same as in the original au. It's funny how snowdin and waterfall have been changed the most, considering how iconic those designs are.
