Got a cool fact about Scream

During Scream (1996), when the principal Himbry accidentally calls the janitor a freak, you can see the janitor wears a green and red stripped jumper, black dress pants and a brown hat. And, he is also called Fred, presumably after Freddy Krueger from A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), which was also directed by Wes Craven.

Obviously this was intentional.
