Meet the Members of the Water Has Memory Team! Introducing for Writing/Scripting...

"Hi, I’m Myth, aka @secretsofthestorymakers on tumblr (she/her, 19)! I first watched Frozen on opening weekend when I was 8 and have loved it ever since. I joined the fandom last summer, and have really enjoyed getting to know others who love Frozen just like me!

I joined the Water Has Memory team on October 16 2023, after @toriofthetrees invited me! I mostly helped with marketing, as I wrote most of the yearly spotlights. It’s been so fun to get to connect with other Frozen fans and work together to create something like this fanzine!"

Confession (and negativity) time: I want to clarify I don't like Norse Myth. Yes, I'd written things on how there's something from Hel in Elsa, Niflheim, on the river of primordial ice that gave life to everything, Jötunns and trolls, but...I don't want it to play a bigger role in F3/4. I want Saami spirits, Foremother, Nature, forest forces, sieidi and noaidi, sacred stones and springs. For me, this is so much more inspiring and deeper. I find Asgard gods horrible as characters and so overused in modern media. "Valhalla" is not needed when there is Ahtohallan, Lee literally mentioned that the castle is in the Glacier. Also, vikings were a plague to Saami and other tribes of the area, they are actually bad. So, I can see their arc if it happens as only an enemy of the sisters, the art hints at this, and Northuldra("Saami") and their Myth, I hope, will remain the main and positive force of the future movies 🙆

"I was one of the early members of the Water Has Memory team, back when it was first introduced to me on Discord. I served as the narrator for the teaser material put out by the team, and I had fun doing my part. I consider myself a fairly new fan, but I know for certain my love for Frozen is quite strong indeed, especially for the main heroes themselves. I’m proud of the work the team has put out and know that we made something special!"

“I joined the Water Has Memory team on 17 October 2023 and was chosen to be in charge of our marketing, i.e. I was responsible for advertising and sharing our posts on other fan platforms. After some designs and discussions, I created most of the ‘WE WANT YOU’ posters on Arendelle's stationery, first with Uncle Sam and later with Frozen characters. I also created the mood boards for each year.

It was great fun being part of the team and helping to plan everything. Since I've been a big Frozen fan for years, it was something special for me to help put together a fanzine on the occasion of Frozen's 10th anniversary.”
