"four more shots of tequila please," suna says to the bartender, leaning over the counter to get her attention — not that he needs to, with the way she's had her eyes on him all night.

"comin' right up," she smiles sweetly. "wow, you can really drink, handsome."

you could've sworn steam shot out of your ears at the word. maybe it's because she's pretty, or that you just wanted to have a fun night out with your boyfriend, and have now been rudely reminded that you're not the only person who finds him good-looking.

after all, who wouldn't?

"actually, they're for me and my—" suna's sentence is cut short by the bartender already bustling away to grab more alcohol at his request, and he gives you a quick glance. but you avoid eye contact, tapping your finger against your sides.

i don't want to get worked up over nothing, you think to yourself.

"here you go," the woman chirps, sliding four more glasses — all filled to the brim — towards suna. he gives her a quick nod of thanks, and passes two of the cups in your direction while handing you a wedge of lime.

"you don't want one?" you ask, noticing that your boyfriend doesn't take one for himself.

"no need," he shrugs with a smile. even in the dim lighting of the bar, suna is still so, so attractive. it's unfair. especially with the way he can make your heart skip a beat with just one look.

he downs one shot first, tossing his head back and gulping the alcohol down with ease — his expression never changing once. he's a machine. truly.

you roll your eyes at him.

"wow, you can really drink, handsome," you echo the bartender's words from earlier, before pouring your own drink down your throat. suna merely watches, patiently waiting for you to finish so you two can have the last two glasses together.

his lips are so close to twitching into a smile, but he resists the urge. he doesn't want you to be jealous or anything... yet he also can't deny how cute it is when you let it show.

"cheers," he chuckles once you take up the second shot cup, and clinks his against yours. the way he never takes his eyes off you — even with his head tilted back and hard liquor sliding down his throat, adam's apple bobbing as he does — makes you forget about the burning in your own.

suna doesn't need to touch you to know that there's a fiery heat traveling up your cheeks. it really is adorable when you get flustered.

his lips finally curl upwards this time and it makes you want to sock him — he's hot and he knows it. you can see it all in that smirk.

as much as you want to act tough in front of the bartender and your boyfriend, the bitter taste of tequila is much stronger. you cringe at how awful the alcohol feels against your lips and quickly sink your teeth into the piece of lime; the sour tartness of the fruit brings you much more relief than you'd expected.

"are you sure you don't want some?" you ask, crinkling your nose at how much worse this round felt than the last, as you offer him the green wedge.

suna pauses for a moment and then — without warning — reaches an arm out to pull you in towards him. you only feel his hand rest on the nape of your neck for a split second until his lips are crashing against yours, as though eager and hungry to get a taste.

a small gasp escapes you as your eyes flutter shut instinctively. suna's clutch on your flesh is firm when he smiles into the kiss — you don't even need to see it to know that it's sly and cheeky. his tongue slips into your mouth effortlessly, swiping along yours in fluid motions, until all you can taste is tequila, lime, and his hot breath mixed in with your own. slowly, suna gives your bottom lip a gentle, teasing bite, and plants a quick kiss to your cupid's bow before pulling away.

"no, i don't need it," he murmurs, voice dangerously low and husky in your ear as the bartender coughs in the background. his eyes flit down to the green wedge you're still awkwardly holding in one hand and back up to your lips — now slightly puffy from the intensity of the kiss. suna's tongue flicks out and licks the corner of his mouth in one smooth motion as he chuckles,

"this is enough."

he claims its a bad thing at the moment. considering y/n’s plan he’ll hear her voice a lot in the future so that opinion may change ;) the juicier stuff will come further on the more they interact!!
