Not my usual post about Hatchetfield or random bs, but I cannot let this go. I LOVE Gwen Stacy’s universe.

Someone pointed it out to me first, idk who anymore, but Gwen’s universe portrays emotion. And the biggest contrast is shown with her dad

LOOK! She’s not feeling too good and isn’t exactly in the best mood after quitting the band and the whole ‘Spider-Woman murdered your bestie’ thing that her dad insists on, not knowing Gwen IS Spider-Woman. While her father (don’t remember his name, whoops) is hopeful and feeling pretty positive that it’ll finally work out this time.

Here, Gwen is (ig) going through the motions of trying to get through to her dad once more, but isn’t feeling very confident that she will this time, hence the dark blues. Meanwhile, the background at her dad is dark, while he’s having a moment of thought, which is why he’s not as dark as the Gwen is coloured here.

But something I love almost and figured out on my own, is the abstract art that comes up in the end.

It first pops up here. When he starts talking about quitting his job. The background is abstract art.

While Gwen is processing it, it doesn’t quite flow through to her side.
