Okay so I saw your tags on the Lydia Deetz post, and agreed! She's literally how I would always sound in my diary whenever I was really going through it. I would also come up with scenarios as a child of being orphaned and alone, but I'm not sure if that's nearly as common 😬

and the orphan thing omg. i remember as a kid i didn't like going to visit my dad and stepmum without my brother and sister because they lived far away, and so whenever i had to go i would pretend i had been taken to live with an evil couple in the middle of nowhere countryside. dissociating but make it ✨️ awful ✨️

i think it is somewhat common tho! my niece's whole thing used to be pretending to be an orphan who'd just shown up on the doorstep lolll. our imaginations are a funny thing 🥲
