There’s so much that I have to say about this, lets just start with the fact that I choke sobbed my way through the episode like literal tears down my face sobbing. I find it absolutely baffling how Jimin was in so much fucking pain that, I quote him, “My throat hurts so much, it hurts to even breathe.” It was hard for him to even breathe. If you’ve seen the episode you saw that when he was talking it was hard for him to even get the words out of his mouth and his voice was barely above a whisper. 

The fact that Jimin performed an entire fucking show in that condition to the point where he had to physically break down crying in front of thousands of people, it hurts me. It absolutely shatters my heart that he had to perform for hours in that condition singing and dancing continuously when all he really should be doing at that was resting. It makes me fucking mad that we wouldn’t have even known that he was in so much pain if he wouldn’t have broke down during the truth untold.

And what’s worse is that it absolutely infuriates me to no limit that, after he came down from performing the truth untold, after he literally broke down on stage to the point of Jungkook comforting him while he sobbed, he came down and had exactly four fucking seconds before he was being rushed into a cloth change and was getting ready to perform mic drop. It fucking makes me so mad that he had four fucking seconds to stop crying, get a grip on himself, forget the fact that his throat pains so much that it’s hard to breathe and just get changed and go up on stage to perform mic drop of all songs, a song that we all know ain’t easy to perform.

Now I’ll get a lot of people saying “they chose this life” “its what idol lives are supposed to be like”, NO. FUCK YOU. They could’ve made him sit out the concert, they could’ve made him lip sync or least of all could’ve given him a fucking bottle of water before making him change his damn clothes when he is fucking struggling to breathe for fucks sake?? BUT then again, if he lip syncs the kpoppies would come for him, right? If he sings when he’s sick and makes a mistake, the kpoppies would come for him, right? If he sits out a concert because he is sick, he’s an attention seeker or he’s not professional enough, right? If he sings, he’s at fault. If he doesn’t he’s at fault. If he sits a concert out he’s at fault and if he performs when sick and misses a single damn note, even then, he’s at fault? What do people even want from him? what ?

It absolutely baffles me how he had the sheer will power to pull through a full fledged concert whilst being a main dancer and a lead vocalist, doing his part as the stage genius he is, all whilst being in pain and being sick and even then EVEN THEN some people have it in their damn hearts to find faults in this hardworking, humble, genuine man who had done nothing but worked his ass off from the day he left his home at the mere age of 17 and have not stopped since to take  a damn breath. The way Jin said “In my opinion Jimin is perfect so it makes me crazy how he’s still able to work so tirelessly”. Park Jimin is already a perfect performer and even then he keeps on improving when it seems like there’s nothing even left to improve upon. 

The fact that Jimin ALWAYS gives his 100% to the point where the members have to ask him to slow down cause they’re scared he will overwork himself on stage, to the point where his back is covered in tapes for days on end. THIS. THIS is exactly why I don’t take shit when it comes to him. His work ethic and dedication is fucking unparalleled in this industry, no one and i repeat NO ONE works as hard as this man on stage and no one ever can. They don’t call him the stage genius for nothing. He goes up on stage even when his body is breaking down and puts up a performance that is nothing less of perfection and has been doing that for YEARS upon YEARS and this is exactly why anyone who ever doubts him or talks shit about him is automatically dead to me because this man did not work to the point of his body breaking down only for some 14 year old bitch who hasn’t even completed elementary school, living on her parents money from america to come up and talk shit about how there are faults in him and how their oppars are better. This man did not give every waking second of his life to his artistry for a fucking nameless faceless blob on the internet to find faults in him and kekeke over it. I swear I have always been a shooter for Jimin and day after day that only grows and I’ll tell you this; Jimin’s karma works real hard and y’all should know better than to mess with God’s favorite child. I refuse to let anyone step on him and his artistry and his tireless hardwork for some clout. I refuse to just sit there and ignore the hate he gets just cause “every idol gets hated upon” “its normal” nah mate, I will personally fight every bitch who has shit to say about this man who has nothing but worked his ass off all day all night for years to get to where he is now. I refuse to be a bystander to the bullshit people throw at him cause GOD KNOWS that Jimin deserves the whole fucking world but this world will never deserve him.

Ok was that big hit statement made up? I never wanted yoongi to have to explain himself or apologize for something so obvious. I just woke up and heard and went to check and it’s not on their site and the song is still up? I hope that statement wasn’t from them.

idk...like i said, i only saw an article that said bighit said that, and bighit usually releases their own statements through their own channels. also, like you and i have both discovered, the song is still up 🤔 i only have spotify, tho, so who knows. in any case, i’m kind of done with this topic. i said what i said *in my nene voice*

if the sample was used thoughtlessly--simply because someone thought it sounded cool and/or didn’t do their proper research--then shame on them, and yes they should apologize. but if it was chosen to help further his message, i don’t think he has anything to be sorry about. i refuse to censor this man using an artform that was entirely created out of the desire and need to be heard. and imo, even if we weren’t talking about the hip hop genre, whether it was a painting or a photograph or a movie or whatever--art should never be censored anyway! art always has intention, and always has a statement that it is trying to convey. so long as it is directed towards the right audience (i.e., mature themes are intended for adult consumption, not children’s), then we should not be trying to quiet it.
