Crowley and Aziraphale have just met, and they are supposed to be enemies, but when the first rain comes they are there together. Crowley has wings of his own, he could have covered himself just fine. Aziraphale does not move to cover himself at all. It is so perfect, so natural and automatic, for Crowley to shuffle closer, and for Aziraphale to lift a wing to shelter him. The quiet understanding, of watching the world when it is still new and full of so many possibilities. They were made for each other.
