Were they trying to get behind the counter?- but the door was stopping their anonymous body.

Alright fine he'll help. Before Mort can even come near- the little one squeezed itself out the confinements of the door. Tumble the two went until they slipped into the backroom.

“Simeonnnn, what do you do when you’re having a writer’s block? If you can tell me where you get inspiration from too, that would be a huge help!”

"That friend of yours should learn a thing or two before meeting me." The Avatar of Pride wasn't shy of compliments, in fact they were a sort of foundation to his sin. But praise wasn't something he takes as is.

"Don't give me that expression, I didn't say they can't meet me at all. I just hope they have the slightest idea of what they're getting themselves into..."

Displeased? It didn't seem like it, just genuine wonder on who would boldly request an audience with the eldest of the seven rulers of hell.. his pride was well placed this time.

"9pm, they won't dare to be late... will they?"

A hum sounded under his breath, the question wasn't outlandish but he did need a bit of time to formulate an answer.

"For starters, it depends on your genre... usually I look to scriptures and texts that detail historical phenomenon. Other times I leave the drawing board and take a stroll around places far from crowds. You'd come to know the wonders a quiet place can bring to the mind."

There was a weak smile on his face, Simeon propped both arms on the table before tackling your first question.

"It's a cliche trick but, taking a break from writing does help a lot... sometimes you need to allow distance in order for inspiration to grow in between. However if you've already rested after a while— perhaps rethinking why you started writing your piece in the first place might help."

Hey Arataki, I would like to say, even if you are a dumbass at times. I really appreciate your presence, you're kind of like an older brother to me ya know?

“Oh please— this is Arataki one and oni Itto we’re talking about! But you better take back the dumbass comment if you wanna be my first honorary sibling buddy” A mock pout made its way to his marked face, the oni’s posture slumped against the tree bark but a stifled laugh hid itself behind Itto's fanged grin.

“Y’know I’m just messing with ya, right? Hey if my dumbass really helps you feel relaxed then by all means be my guest! —” his fist raised to you, offering a fist bump of some sort.

“The Arataki Gang has your back alright? And that ain’t changing anytime soon!”
