And why did his daughters’ hearts need to be saved? Was the whole thing a set up? What does any of it even mean?

I watched yashahime on and off aside from the final episodes and for the most part from what I saw I really some of the directions and ideas the had, but it really needed better execution, because, like you said, Sessrin were kind of too blasé about everything that was happening with their daughters (inukag but but they were handled kind of better) and that the resentment should have been addressed earlier.

Basically this show needed better execution (and maybe more time if we’re really talking about making a developed show).

This show had a lot of potential and I feel they were going in that direction, but hopscotching back and forth along the way.

Overall I quite liked the show a lot, but like I said, they needed better organization and execution.

I don’t even know how to register how bad this was. Rin and Sesshomaru’s characters were destroyed in how blase they were about their children. So Towa and Setsuna did have resentment about their father but we don’t even address it.

What garbage.

OG Sesshomaru would never treat his kids this way. Rin would never put up with such bullshit. This was garbage.

Not gonna lie, i wish Rin’s reunion with the twins was made a bit more emotional with more build up 🥺 i wanted all the feels 😔

"Chat Noir is a slut" jokes are funny, but like, I'm gonna need everyone to recognize that what Nino said and did at one of his lowest points in the show is not indicative of any actual feelings that he holds toward Chat Noir, and holding him to that episode is really getting not-funny for people who like him.
