what r some specific scenarios you love writing?

it really depends! i like writing a lot of hurt/comfort scenes - esp where one character isn’t doing too well emotionally or mentally and the other character comforts them? i also like writing cuddles and quiet domestic moments like character A tapping B on the hip or B leaning on A when they're tired etc ? all in all, i dont have a straight forward answer because theres nothing really specific that comes to mind, it’s more like scenarios and tropes i like .

Peeta calling his children “my babies” is kneecapping me like it’s easy for me to imagine Katniss saying that but something about Papa Peeta just knocks me out flat

i just think that from the moment he finds out that katniss is pregnant he’s totally in awe of the whole thing like 🥹 those are his babies!! and her babies!! their babies!! 🥹

from early on he’s super hands on, ‘talking’ to her tummy when she’s so early in her pregnancy that there’s hardly even a bump. when she points out that it can’t hear yet, he’s just like “hush woman, let me speak to my baby.” which of course, makes her soften and she usually just goes along with his silliness.

she finds it kind of adorable, and she adopts it too - especially when she’s being a little bit cheeky. “take your baby, mellark.” knowing full well that the kid needs a diaper change. or when their boy is on a sugar rush when he’s a little bit older and she’s just like “get your son.”

i just… peeta being an adoring father to his children is so precious. can you imagine how proud he is of those little ones, and how much he talks about them whenever someone gives him a chance? 💀
