Can Leslies Importance In Gotham Be Properly Acknowledged Again? You Know Like How She Was Like A Mother
Can Leslie’s importance in Gotham be properly acknowledged again? You know like how she was like a mother figure to Bruce? Or her connection to JPV? Or how she basically raised Steph for two years? Or how she acted as a therapist for Selina? Or how Cass temporarily lived in her clinic? Just can DC acknowledge any of that?

mr007pennyworth:
Alfred snorts. “Hard time? I had to rant his ear off last night about sneaking out, third floor window he was trying to climb out of, if I hadn’t seen his legs from the hallway before he fell he might have needed up in there” He points at the hospital behind them with his cane. “He’s lucky that even half a leg down I’ve got reflex’s of a lion”
He looks a bit nervous at the question. “Well, I’m wondering if you do get time one evening to come over for dinner, Bruce was asking me about you a few days ago and I thought perhaps we could catch up over a roast and bottle of wine perhaps, there’s no rush of course the offer is there when ever your free, I don’t go very far these days”
Leslie blinked at Bruce’s latest antics. “He needs to watch what he’s doing. If you want me to come over with a slideshow of pictures about what happens when you play on rooftops, that can be arranged.”
Her smile softened. The man was a sweetheart and she didn’t really have the heart to refuse. If she was honest, she missed seeing Bruce too. “Dinner sounds lovely Alfred. I actually finish a little earlier on Friday this week. How about then?”
mr007pennyworth:
Alfred had been sat on the sofa by the fire reading when his phone went off. It was only half four and he feared it was the school, but when he spotted Leslies number, he was embarrassed to admit his heart rate went up just a tad.
“Hello?”
Thomas? Meds? He lost track half way through what she was trying to say. “Leslie, why-erm, look I have to fetch Bruce from school in fifteen minutes, why don’t I pick you up, we’re probably better talking about this back at the manor?”
It wasn’t until Bruce had retired to his rooms to do his homework that Leslie even considered talking to Alfred about what she had discovered. It wasn’t fair to him to break the news to him while the boy was about or while he was driving. She’d rather not have to break the news to him at all, but she wasn’t going to let Alfred suffer any longer.
Leslie sat facing him in the drawing room, the warmth of the fireplace was soothing. She wished she could soften the blow for him, but he deserved to know the truth.
“I took a look at your medication, and your notes. Like I said I would.” She starts, feeling slightly ill. “There’s some changes that we need to make and some things that I need to explain. It’s not going to be a pleasant conversation for you Alfred, I’m sorry.”
