a/n: so, I can’t say I’ve done this whole uploading a bts story thing before but lockdown has me bored and I figured… why not? I was thinking about making this a story if enough of you guys wanted it, if not I’m happy to go hide and continue writing for my own amusement and pretend this never happened, ha. i have a little bit anxiety about uploading this because as a fic reader myself I know that I will never be as good as a lot of you, so this is kinda scary. I’ve edited it as best as I can but it’s like 5am and I’m tired. so I hope, somebody, enjoys? 

“Who the fuck is that?” You said, maybe a bit too loudly, from the little nook at your bedroom window. Whoever he was, he was beautiful. Broad shoulders, muscular arms and wavy hair that you wanted to run your fingers through. The mysterious man looked like he just stepped out of a magazine and you approved.

Your previous statement had made your best friend, Jimin, get up from his place on your bed and move towards you. You had known him since you were both kids and basically grew up together. He likes to say it’s his bubbly personality that attracted you to him and made you keep him around. You say he’s just a clingy mess that wouldn’t leave you alone - even if you begged.

“Wow, he’s cute.” Jimin obviously approved too, shoving you to the side so that he could get a better look at the guy who was standing on the sidewalk outside your home. You sent him a glare and playfully shoved him back.

This was written on a whim, and truthfully, Katie’s will make mine make way more sense.

In the beginning of Jungkook’s fifth year at Hogwarts, he likes to think he understands everything about the school. He’s been sent into the Forbidden Forest, (no longer terrifying, but the name was kept after the Great War, and honestly, he’d only gone in on a dare,) he’s broken his arm in a few Quidditch matches, used the Marauders Map to sneak his way into Hogsmead the year he forgot his permission slip. But try as he may, there are still a few things Jungkook can’t figure out.

Take, for example, the way Jungkook catches you glancing at him in the library, eyes glazed as if you were lost in thought, only to look away before it became obvious to any bystander that you were staring. Innocent enough to anyone else’s view, but it’s happened too many times for Jungkook to write off. Or the way you claim to hate Quidditch, only to show up to any game Jungkook played in, cheering for his house and never your own. Or three weeks ago, when Jungkook had postponed an essay until the night it was due and you’d showed up at the door to his common room with four coffees, his favorite snack, and your favorite blanket.

Jungkook was pretty sure he knew how he felt, but he couldn’t be sure how you felt.
