Hey so I've been doing some thinking about a fairly minor piece of worldbuilding for Silen Fah (my ancient but still unfinished book), and I was curious what some other opinions might be! So here's the thing in question:
This is the current design for the armor worn by the military in the Merfaen tiz Ornaru. Everybody wears this style in these colors:
Which is cool and edgy and all, but... is it too boring? So it got me to thinking, should the leather armor be different colors for the different races? (We've got five different races that live in the Merfaen, and each of them operates in different "branches" of the army.) But they should still match a little bit, I mean, they're all in the same army, right? So what about different colored under-layers like this?
Or maybe the races are so different anyway, that this just makes things too busy. IDK. I've never been much of a "fashionista". :P ;)
