epsiode one:

betting the last nug of gold is such a jj thing to do, i couldn’t even be mad at him. but betting all they had KNOWING that bike was trash?? PLEASE BE SERIOUS. and that weird kook guy that said all of the cut was going to be figure eight soon? i feel like that was potential for the plot to keep going.. who knows though. jiara was so cute here i love them. BUT RAFE??? he looks so good it’s insane.

episode two:

rafe and sofia going to topper’s party and him yelling at that girl like that caught me so off guard lmaooo. i had seen a couple of ppl on x saying that sofia was being a pick me with the whole ‘hey, stop it.’ thing when rafe wanted to keep fighting but i don’t see the cringe??? i think she actually cares about him and doesnt want him to get in any unnecessary trouble. omfg and dale telling cleo ‘i like your accent, welcome to our country.’ can we just kill him off now plsss?? that weird cougar can go too!

episode three:

SOFIA IS A CONFIRMED LATINA!!! I KNEW THE ACTRESS PLAYING HER WAS LATINA, BUT FOR IT TO BE CANON NOW?? I LOVEEEEEE!! also her dad asking her to urge rafe to make a deal for money behind his back??? i hope she doesn’t disappoint me omg.

UPDATE: SO RAFE DISAPPOINTED ME INSTEAD. talking about sofia, saying ‘i won’t live with a pogue, i have standards.’ i’m glad sofia made that deal with the cougar now ngl

episode four:

literally FUCK ruthie. ‘we have to protect ourselves’ ma’am— you nearly killed kie and actually did kill an innocent baby turtle, pls don’t play with me rn. can everyone target her now instead of sofia?? pls and thank you!

anger aside, the entire scene of rafe and sofia in the bathroom made me go insane!!!! i kept pausing and rewinding it was terrible.

episode five:

three words: CLEO DESERVES BETTER. i felt so bad for her this episode, kie telling cleo not to look when the guys were moving terrence’s body made me want to cryyyy omfg. i really hope she gets to have her revenge, she deserves AT LEAST that.

LARISSA BEING JJ’S MOM???? LUKE NOT BEING JJ’S BIOLOGICAL DAD??? I CALLED IT AS SOON AS THEY SHOWED THE NEWSPAPER WITH JJ’S MOM AND HIS BABY PICTURE. AND JJ’S DAD BEING WITH THE COUGAR LADY???? I GASPED WHEN I SAW RAFE WITH THE POGUES AT THE END OF THE EPISODE. i seriously can’t wait for the next part.

Right I love Sofia I feel like she is good for Rafe. Like put all the hate on topper and his lame wannabe gf . They are both getting on my last nerve

both of them are extremely boring characters, instead of the nasty girlfriends, Cleo and Pope should’ve gotten more screen time

i would’ve LOVED to have seen more of cleo and pope. i’m hoping we’ll be able to see more of them in the next part <3

you guys are not getting the fact that it’s THE person that was the most hateful towards pogues his entire life and now he’s suddenly softening up with a pogue and is being on pogues side. did we all watch the same show??

the discourse of rafe ‘softening’ up and so many people being irritated and/or angry that he’s not going to be a toxic character anymore makes me so sad :( this man has fought and struggled with addiction since he was nineteen, like really bad. he has had issues since he was ten years old and has NEVER gotten help for it, he was constantly being put on the back burner by his father that he STILL idolizes and wants to be just like, has made some really messed up decisions but has no idea how to apologize for those things and make it mean something, amongst so many other things.. and on top of it all, he has to grieve ward. if this man wants to do a 360 and soften up with a pogue to feel some peace.. pls just let him do that 😭
