Quick analysis things of their stories.

I'mma start with Little Monster.

Obviously my opinion is going to be a taaad bit biased because Ghost has consumed every fiber of my being. So to answer your question, Little Monster is #1. But let me set aside my raging lady boner for Ghost.

My favorite thing about Little Monster is the dialogue. There is a clear difference in tone between Terzo and Omega. Terzo speaks in a slightly broken English and slurred, hyper tone and Omega speaks in a slower and more proper tone. The way you convey that is admirable and I honestly take inspiration from that for when I write my own bullshit, although I don't write very often. Natural sounding dialogue is difficult for me and you just nail it.

And like I said yesterday I think, the indirect and direct emotion is conveyed SO WELL. I've read books and stories that made me go "aw well that sucks" but, and it may just be my love for Ghost, this story brought actual pain to my chest. It has me rooting for the betterment of their relationship so bad and makes me want more. Phenomenonal work. Actual tear jerker and I'm in love with it.

Now for The Serpent.

I will probably reread it a few times and my quick analysis of it will probably change after I think about and read it more. But so far my favorite part of it is how intelligent it is. You've clearly done your research (or at least it REALLY sounds like it). Anson's personality is charming yet kind of creepy, and I think it suits the plot and theme of the story. I already wanna cook up some food for this.

Also, the family relationships and character description is fantastic too. I can picture Father Quincy the best. I'd love to see some more physical descriptions of the other characters! I'd love to draw them.

So in conclusion, both stories are fucking fantastic and you have a lot to be proud of. Can't wait for more of both!
