My favorite thing on tumblr is the way people think they should be allowed to speak in absolutes and when people say “hey that’s mean and assumes too much” they say “actually you should have picked up on the million other nuances that I implied and didn’t say.” I am not required to translate your unkind post in the most charitable way possible into the perfect kind post that you think you wanted to make. I think it’s easier to be kind, or maybe to keep those thoughts to yourself
