I actually ended up waking up in the middle of the night and reading this at like 4am. My brain just felt a shift in the force (or however the Star wars saying goes. My friend would literally be on my ass if he saw this), but honestly, I feel as if it's always been that way whenever you upload fics in the middle of the night and I think it's kinda cool.

Even though this is only the first part, there's sooo much potential to see where this goes. At the end of it, I was already creating a mind map of what I think may happen and I'm 110% sure that it's wrong, but I'm so excited to read and experience the journey you created for these characters. The way you write is so beautifully realistic and raw, and I feel a bit vulnerable whenever I read any work of yours, which isn't a bad thing at all. It's just your diction, the way it breaches beyond my surface level thinking and experiences of certain emotions, and the way you perfectly place every word and every sentence in your art that makes everything feel whole and beautiful in whatever way is true to the story. So thank you!! I’ve always enjoyed reading things by you because of this.

Series Masterlist

Jungkook appreciates all the things that had to go right, to get you here. In his bed. First, there was the transfer he was all too apprehensive about. It’s not that he didn’t like his last university, but he’d outgrown the small town, his underperforming team and if he was going to be taken seriously as a hockey player, this move was a necessary one. Still, change can be a scary thing and as it stood, Jungkook had it pretty good at his last school.

Second, there was the fortuitous opportunity to move into an apartment with one of his new teammates. He had practically jumped at the chance to move on from dorm living, eager for the privacy of his own bedroom. Not to mention, said teammate being in classes for another few hours. This left Jungkook with ample time to get up to no good in their empty apartment.

And last, but certainly not least, there was the empty seat in class last week. The empty seat next to you and that killer fucking smile of yours. Jungkook was a little startled by the fact there hadn’t been a pile up of people eager to get next to you but their loss was only his gain. Jungkook’s never been one to look a gift horse in the mouth.

He counts his lucky fucking stars as he staves off what is bound to be the best orgasm he’s had in recent memory. Really, he hadn’t meant for this to happen. Not yet, anyway. Truly he’d only asked you to come over to watch this movie for your film class to get to know you a little better. If he was lucky he’d end the night with your number. A kiss maybe, if he was really shooting for the stars. But the situation that’s quite literally landed in his lap is far beyond any expectation he could have cooked up in his fucked out brain.

It doesn’t have to be so scary to let him in. 

Hi Fal! 

I really enjoyed this part, even though this was a punch to the gut. I honestly wasn't expecting the angst train to come so soon, not that I mind at all, but I guess it's expected for a story like this one. Though this also means that I have to be more cautious so that I don't get my heart ripped out of my chest, sliced in half by skates, and then shot into a net later on. 

I feel for the main character. She was beginning to build slow acceptance/consideration into trusting Namjoon and then THAT happens, and all of her trust shatters.

(This is just an aside, but I think that it's amazing in general how one small act of events can turn things completely around. It makes me wonder if that message was never sent or if the main character never saw it what her outlook might've been later on (but then again, the truth always comes out, right?))

I also really liked this part:

"Namjoon may have his selfish tendencies, but in between these sheets, he is wholly selfless and he is yours."

It's kind of ironic because after rereading this, it makes you question with everything going on, "is he really? He loves her...right???" And those photos were sort of the icing on the cake for that. And I also like this part as well because of that:

It is in these moments, between the pauses in pleasure and the gruffness of his whispered encouragements, that you’re able to see the Namjoon no one else sees. 

I also really liked this part:

What if he's brought other people between those sheets, you know? What if the girl who sent those pics is a close second? Even though there's this pettiness now with their relationship situation (situationship?), I don't want to make any calls yet. Who knows? We haven't seen things from Namjoon's pov yet so I'm awfully curious to see if these things reign true. Maybe things aren't what they seem to be? Perhaps I'm being too optimistic and hoping that maybe there's something unshown, but I do think that this part was a pretty precise stab to the heart.

Because if there’s one thing you won’t give Namjoon again, it’s your tears. You won’t let him see you crumble like you did before. You won’t let him see that he still holds that power over you. But what you will show him is that two can play this game and that you can play it better.

Idk why when it's filled with hurt and anger and pettiness but there's a hidden beauty behind it (maybe strength?) that I wish I could explain rn but I cannot. Especially not before I've had any caffeine in my body to wake me up😂
